Sleek and practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening this suitcase, my husband immediately said to me “that looks sharp!” The built in lock mechanism immediately caught my eye, it was super easy to program to a new code and it didn’t take any hard pinching force when opening like some other suitcases I have tried. The inside is very similar to many other carry ons with the buckle strap but the zippered compartments are an extra feature you don’t always see especially in a carry on. We had an 11 day trip shortly after receiving this suitcase and I jokingly said I was going to pack everything in this one suitcase. To my surprise, my wardrobe for the entire 11 days including pajamas and 3 additional outfits all fit into this suit case. It was even more shocking when I was able to rezip the extender fabric closed! This wasn’t just a fluke, we had a weekend trip for our family of 4 shortly after returning from that extended trip and I was able to fit 3 days worth of clothing, pajamas and even diapers for our 5 month old into just one carry on when usually we have to take 2 carry ons or 1 full size suitcase to accommodate us all. The practicality of the built in lock and the amount it can hold aren’t the only pros. The wheels are so smooth and the handle adjusts a couple extra inches taller compared to our other luggage sets! We have been so impressed with this carry on, thank you so much stellar panel for giving us the opportunity to test it out!

Best carry-on I've ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Straight out of the packaging, I was impressed with my Tumi Ventra. When I took it out of the protective cover, it was simple, yet so sleek. I do love all black anything because it is easy to pair with other accessories.
It was so lightweight, which is a relief, because I am notorious for over packing. So obviously the expandable capability is necessary. That being said, the outer handles are sturdy and easy to grab, which made loading into the overhead compartment a breeze. Which is usually a struggle with me only being 5'2.
Pulling and maneuvering this bag was so smooth, and I never had any issues with it tipping or moving in a direction I didn't want it to. The wheels turned so nicely even with another bag stacked on top.
I did have to search on how to open and set the TSA lock, as there were no instructions and I didn't want to somehow mess it up or break the mechanisms. I loved how the zippers lock in place, no searching for them when going to open it.
Inside only continued with my great impressions. I always love dividers and compartments so that packing is easier and more organized. Both inside flaps zip shut and also have zipping pockets. On one side 2 small and on the other one large. The small side was great for my jewelry and socks. And the larger side I used for undergarments and a swimsuit. The one side has the typical criss-cross style band to keep clothes put. But instead of a flimsy, spandex band that stretches out over time, it is a solid strap with an adjustable buckle that I could tighten or loosen depending on what all I had packed. Loved that! And a nice little surprise when I unzipped one of the inner pockets, it comes with a nice storage bag. I certainly appreciate that, as I store my luggage away when not in use.
Overall, I cannot pin point one trait or concept about this piece of luggage that I did not love. Even the name tag on the outside felt like luxury. If you're looking for a top of the line piece of luggage, the Tumi Ventra Large is all you need.

Organized, Effortless to roll, and Classy Carryon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tumi Ventra Large Expandable Carry On is a great addition to my travels! As a military wife, mom, and avid traveler, I have embarked on many flights- for both long and short excursions. This expandable carry on has exceeded my expectations for a carry on. Not only is the design sleek and clean, the interior includes multiple pockets which are perfect for organizing and staying tidy while on a trip. There are two main interior zippered pockets on each side, in addition to smaller pockets which also zip. I have LOVED this feature as it is much easier to not only plan what I am taking, but then keep it organized throughout travel and beyond. The expandable design of this carry on is great, providing extra space while maintaining a sleek appearance and not compromising integrity. The added TSA combination lock, and telescoping handle are also great features. The wheels are so smooth while rolling this suitcase making navigating through airports, hotels, sidewalks, and around people almost effortless- a definitive plus and another of my favorite features. One thing that I wasn’t thrilled about is how it did begin to attract dust and fingerprints/oils from my hands began to show up on the exterior with use. While some wear and tear is expected, especially while using this during airport travel, this large expandable carry on has been amazing to take along for all my travels.

Great weekender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the Tumi for a long weekend trip to Boston. Needless to say, it stored all my fits and shoes for my trip & I am a known overpacker. I usually use packing cubes but I feel like it wasn't necessary because of the extra pockets. I also love the fact that it came with a small bag which I will be using for laundry. The black color was perfect because it matched my outfit going and coming back from my trip. The wheel design is also amazing since it will go any direction with you. Can we also mention how light weight it is? Definitely easy to put in the overhead compartment on plane. I can definitely tell this will be my go to carry on, not only because of the practicality but the design and sturdiness is amazing.

Easy to pack, easy to use!

I was impressed with the bag’s quality and how easy it was to pack. The sides and wheels and handle are sturdy and can definitely handle whatever weight you pack in the bag. The bag is sleek and stylish. As someone who travels for work often, I’m always in need of a bag that has a clean look and is lightweight, roomy, and easy to move. I love how easy it is to pull out the handle and roll the bag. The 360 wheels are smooth and handle different surfaces with ease. It handled concrete, tile & carpet with no issues. When packing, the storage compartments made it easy to pack strategically. The bag is roomy enough for a 5-6 day. I’d absolutely recommend this bag and it’ll be my go to travel bag from now on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carry on has become my go to and favorite piece of luggage! The look and design is well thought of, it is very sleek, modern, and professional looking. I never thought a carry on could look sophisticated, but this one sure does. The material feels durable, the zippers feel sturdy and the hard shell exterior is going to hold up well after the wear and tear of traveling. Compared to other carry ons I own, it is truly built to last. The wheels worked exceptionally well and are one of my favorite features. They’re very smooth on the variety of surfaces that I have used them on. One of my favorite things is that I have been able to pack so much with the expandable feature. I love the organization sections inside, it helped me organize my things for my trips, splitting them up from casual to formal and from clean to dirty items on my return trip. Overall, this carry on is durable, stylish and functional and I recommend it!
