[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tumi Ventura bag is too awesome. Design is rugged modern but still very luxe. The hard shell definitely can take the beating of travel and still hold up extremely well. For work travel I only move with a carry on and backpack. The Tumi held everything I need well that would go in overhead storage. Has all the must have features that matter like 360 wheels, super lightweight, and an integrated zipper lock. Wheels move flawlessly across the airport and the hotel floors. On the inside, the zippered compartments separate the entire half of the bag. Perfect for keeping my golf shoes and dress shoes away from my polos, button ups, and slacks. The zippered expansion was handy after returning with more than I left home with. Easy zip and now a few inches thicker while still remaining structurally the same. Will definitely be helpful for when my wife overpacks and starts looking for space in bags. Overall, this bag is exactly what premium is supposed to be. Top quality, hyper light, and look the part.

The best carry-on luggage choice i've ever made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tumi Ventra is an incredible quality carry-on bag. While it tends towards the more compact and practiced traveller, the expansion capabilities can probably manage to help someone needing a bit more space.
I loved the touch of a dedicated airtag pouch, dedicated shoe pockets, and the fact that the bag comes with a dedicated laundry bag. Both sides also zip closed allowing for carrying flat objects/books/paperwork in between the two halves (making for a lighter travel in my backpack personally).
My one nit is that i wish the two zippered halves opened out from each other instead of the same direction - with both open the flap covers the open side of the bag. Outside of that, the ride was smooth (wheels feel as good as day 1 now after 2 trips) and the handle height is sufficient where a lot of other bags fail.

Great carry on!

I appreciate the sleek and stylish design and the smart exterior features such as the TSA friendly lock and built in luggage tag. The suitcase maneuvers very well - even my four year old easily pushed it herself.
Upon first glance the interior pockets seem space limited but once I loaded it up I realized how spacious it truly is. For a compact suitcase it easily has room for 4 days of clothes and a toiletry bag, with room to spare when the expandable zipper is opened up.
The inside pockets also have a few functional zippered pockets which are perfect for phone chargers, books, and more.
Overall this is a beautifully designed suitcase and I look forward to many future travels with it in tow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lil' guy is a workhorse! I'm a chronic over-packer, so expandable options are always up my alley. Things that stood out to me, ie, little details I appreciate, are the little buckle attachment for a luggage tag (I've had too many ruined tags because of having to attach them to handles), the dust bag, the airtag pocket, and inside pocket organizers. My toddler was able to pull it around the house, so easy to navigate? Check. I don't loooovvveeee the external qr code and barcode for "if found, call xxxx" with what I think is probably a serial number (?), but it isn't a deal breaker for me.

The Perfect Carry-On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tumi Ventra Expandable Carry On is the perfect carry on suitcase. The black color is sleek and timeless. This most certainly feels and behaves like luxury luggage. I've never splurged on luggage, but using this carry on makes me wonder why I haven't. The quality is evident. From the wheels to the storage features, this suitcase is top of the line. It is lightweight, yet very strong and sturdy. The built in lock was quick to set up and helps keep your luggage secure, while the Air Tag pocket gives you the option to add your own Air Tag and track your bag should it get lost in transit. The wheels are fantastic. I've never had a rolling suitcase that rolls and maneuvers so smoothly. The handle is solid with very little give when rolling the suitcase around. I greatly appreciate the large zipper pulls. They are much larger and more substantial than a standard zipper, making them so much easier to grab and hold on to when opening and closing. The zip expansion option is perfection. When expanded I was able to pack for two people for a long weekend getaway with room to spare. There are multiple zipper compartments in the interior, making organization easy. I enjoyed the included laundry bag that allowed me to keep dirty laundry away from our clean clothes on our return trip. I also really liked that both sides of the main compartment had their own zipper enclosure. My current carry on only has a zipper enclosure on one side and the other side is open. I much prefer being able to zip everything up on both sides, as it feels much more secure and organized. All in all I give this carry on five stars. It was fun and practical to use, and I can't wait to use it on my next trip in a couple of weeks.

Perfect Carry-On for Overpacking A-Types

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you, like me, are a chronic over-packer who enjoys shopping on weekend getaways, then this, hands-down, is the bag for you!
Let's start with the obvious: the bag expands! This ingenious feature gave me extra room where a traditional carry-on would have struggled to find space for all my thrift shop scores. And even if you aren't a shopper, on the return journey, somehow the same clothing always seems to take up more space. That expanding zipper really helps manage the homeward bound packing.
The second, not to be overlooked, feature: the bag is SO light. I mean SO light. I've had other supposedly "lightweight" bags, and those felt like bowling balls in comparison. Between the lightness of the bag, and the smooth gliding wheels, it basically walked itself through the airport! A lightweight bag is also essential because it helps avoid the dreaded check-in desk scenario... an overweight bag! And if carrying-on, the lighter the bag, the easier it is to haul overhead into the often jam-packed compartments.
Even though the bag was lightweight, it didn't sacrifice features. The dual compartments help keep items separate, so you don't need to dig through everything to find what you need. Having everything in its own place also helps me be mindful of what I'm packing (and what I'm forgetting). If my designated "sock" compartment is empty, I know I need to pack socks! The clips to secure clothing further ensures clothing doesn't arrive all crumpled at the bottom. I'd never used a TSA compliant lock before, but it should not be ignored. If you've ever had the misfortune to board late and need to stow your carry-on far from your seat, the TSA lock provides such peace of mind knowing that even though you can't monitor your bag, everything will stay safe! I was able to sleep without worry on a red-eye – no one was getting in that bag but me!
I'm looking forward to using this bag for all my upcoming trips. The outer shell looks ready to stand up to years of my over-packing travel!

Super impressed with the Tumi Ventra Expandable Carry On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely impressed by the Tumi Ventra Expandable Carry On, even down to the packaging it came in. It came with a dust bag and even the instruction tags were wrapped. It is an extremely sleek and well thought out design. User friendly without unnecessary add ons. I really loved the way the zippers can lock into the suitcase itself, maybe that isn’t new, but this is the first piece I’ve had with that feature. Overall, extremely satisfied.
You can tell it is a super high quality piece. The zippers are solid, the materials are luxurious and it seems like it will be really durable. I am using it as my hospital bag for my second child, but cannot wait to use it for air travel. But even for packing for the hospital, the design and built in organization really helpful. Love that it came with its own laundry bag, that is a realistic size, without being too large.
At first I felt it was a bit small when it came to available packing space, however, the expansion section really adds a good amount of room. My only minor complaint is that there are cross bars in the one side of the packing space which does impact available space when not expanded.
This suitcase is extremely smooth to push and pull, the 360 wheels work wonderfully. I think for someone who travels a lot, specifically air travel, it would make maneuvering the airport a breeze. My current air travel suitcase does not come close to the quality or maneuverability of this Tumi Ventra Expandable Carry On. Highly recommend.

You can just see the quality and know that your things will be protected rain or shine. The built in lock also gives you that extra peace of mind that your items are safe and secure.
Everything you’d want to travel with has its place with the multiple zipper pockets to keep you organized. As a mother of 3 small children I hate lugging around multiple bags. With the Tumi Carry On I was able to fit all of mine and my kids things for a weekend trip and it made life SO much easier.
