Wanted to replace the Roon App...Returned.

The Parametric EQ didn't work, even with the last firmware. The coax preamp quality is less than on my analog output form HiFiMan Serenade.
Over all quality less than the one of Roon.
The App on Android is OK-ish, but on Windows is a shame with missing EQ entirely (non-existent), the USB out option non-existent as well and basic interface.

Highly playable and cost-effective

Excellent build quality and user-friendly interface.
The room acoustic correction function is noticeable.
The decoder delivers excellent sound performance—no background noise, clear, and rich in detail.
The preamplifier is only passable; the soundstage is less than ideal.
However, at this price point, its overall performance is absolutely top-notch!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Streamer/Hub

I am extremely impressed with the WiiM Ultra Hub. It has an excellent DAC. Spotify has never sounded so good coming through my analog Yamaha amp. The screen makes a nice display showing the time if nothing is playing or the album art if you are using Spotify. No album art is shown when streaming via Bluetooth but there are some options to configure the screen that are pretty cool.
The WiiM app has been working seamlessly up until now. It is intuitive and so far no glitches.
The only thing, if this matters to you, is that it doesn’t have AirPlay streaming capability.
Definitely recommend.

Just great

I was tired of using my phone or tablet to stream music, and the satellite radio I had was just not delivering the sound that I wanted to hear. This unit is very well made, the features on the app are great (you can even set up schedules for when your music starts and stops, and you can pick which music will start playing automatically. You can have multiple schedules, and it is under "alarm"). The streaming has been flawless for me, just using my Starlink connection. It is easy to set up. I just ordered the subwoofer to complete my setup as well as purchasing the remote voice2 that has an integrated lithium battery and is more solid. I was looking for exellent sound quality and I'm very happy with this streamer.

Bought this to swap out the Wiim Pro Plus I have on my main stereo. Great price from Best Buy on Black Friday, ordering was easy and delivery was fast. Unit itself was everything I hoped for: great to have a touchscreen display for control as well as track information, setup was a snap. No complaints! And the Pro Plus (which I still love) is on a secondary stereo.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Utilisé avec un DAC externe via connexion coax et NAS Synology . Qualité audio excellente.
configuration tres simple.
Peut s'adapter a beaucoup de setup (DAC interne ou externe, coax ou tos-link)
compatible avec les principales sources de streaming hi-res ou standard.

La compagnie WiiM produit des appareils de musique en continue de bonne qualité à prix abordables il y a le WiiM mini qui est le bas de gamme puis le WiiM pro milieu de gamme puis le WiiM ultra qui est le haut de gamme c’est le modèle que j’ai acheté il possède toutes les entrées et sorties nécessaires c’est le seul avec un écran tactile couleur de 3.5 pouces ça m’a pris environ 45 minutes pour l’installer car il faut télécharger lappli WiiM home puis mettre à jour le firmware intérieur via wifi l’appareil vient avec tout les câbles nécessaires mais pas les2 batteries AAA pour la télécommande j’ai branché ma table tournante Fluance et mes hauts parleurs amplifié Fluance ainsi qu’un lecteur DVD LG ainsi que mes écouteurs AKG et tout fonctionne à merveille je préfère utiliser l’écran tactile plutôt que l appli car je trouve que c’est plus facile j’ai comparer d’autres marque mais elle sont beaucoup plus dispendieuse je pense à eversolo et FIOO
