Very comfortable, and the transparency mode works way better than previous iterations. The sound, profile settings, customization and fitting is all perfect in my opinion. I would like the battery technology to keep getting pushed a little farther since due to the comfort of having them in with transparency mode, it's easy to forget you're using them if you're not listening to anything if you've been listening to things all day at work or something.

Almost perfect

The TW5 earbuds are almost perfect. Let's start with the good. The TW4 were already some of the best sounding wireless earbuds on the market and the TW5 takes that sound to the next level. Deeper bass, cleaner mids, crisper highs. Dolby Atmos is excellent for music and movies. ANC, while not quite class leading is outstanding. The new microphones brings call quality where it should be, a definite and welcome upgrade from the TW4. They are much more comfortable that the TW4 and the new shape make them comfortable enough for sleeping. Battery life is excellent. So why did I not give them 5 stars? Well now for the bad. They have just enough quirky little issues that I can't give them 5 stars. Now I do think that all of these quirky, nagging issues can be fixed with either software or firmware updates. First, stability. I am pairing with an iPhone 17 Pro Max so I am pairing BT 6 to BT 6 so you would think the connection would be solid. However it isn't. One or the other earbud will have dropouts even when I am next to my phone. Not long dropouts but just for a fraction of a second. Just enough to be annoying. And often enough to be a problem. Connectivity to the BTD 700 doesn't help and if anything is worse. The Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app doesn't recognize the TW5 earbuds especially when switching between devices. Disconnecting the earbuds from the other device doesn't help. Closing and reopening the app doesn't help. Disconnecting and reconnecting the BT sometimes help. Normally this wouldn't be and issue but so many of the settings on the TW5s are tied to the app. The TW4 does not have the same problem and switches with no issues so this tells me that the issue is isolated to the TW5. Turning off Multipoint connectivity seems to fix the issue but you lose connectivity to the BTD 700 without multipoint. Hopefully Sennheiser can address these issues with firmware and software updates. One thing I will mention is the lid on the case is a little looser than I would like. Not something that I have come to expect from a Sennheiser product.
These are still good enough that my AirPods Pro 3 usage is decreasing. Getting rid of the little annoying bugs and I may just start leaving the AirPods at home.

The First REAL ENDGAME for Bluetooth Audio!

The MTW 5 is the single greatest Bluetooth sound experience of my whole life. There are no words I can properly use to truly get you to understand the worlds and universe this thing creates with its imaging and soundstage, thanks to the new fit and tuning they put into this unit. And all this before you even get to the amazing battery life and the ability to change out the battery. I have zero drops or connection issues, nor any software issues with the app. Everything works as promised.
