It's slimmer and lighter than my old galaxy watch Ultra which is great, and it's very waterproof. The battery life is awesome too!

I was hesitant to make the purchase, but I chose this watch, specifically, for all of the fitness and health related monitoring that it provides. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I havent found a watch that I like since the galaxy frontier. But this watch Is amazing. Really love how long it lasts. All the improvements. It looks and feels amazing. Last almost 3 days. With regular usage. Would deffentently recomend it. Havent taking in to the water. But the water rating does give peace of mind.

A nice upgrade with an emerging flaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 from the 2024 Watch Ultra due to the small refinements and make it better in daily use. The watch is thinner and lighter, which makes it easier to wear with long sleeves and to sleep with. Raise to talk to Gemini is cool, but works inconsistently. The 35% larger battery is always appreciated, but it doesn't seem to provide much more life than the original.
That brings me to the flaw that existed in the original but is even larger on the Ultra2 - charging. Even with the new fast charger, the watch doesn't charge very fast. I charge every morning using the included charger, and it will go from 60%-90% in 30 minutes, but gets warm doing so. I could charge every other day, but I don't want to have to leave it on the charger for an hour or more. Also, the new charger isn't for sale by itself yet, which is an issue since the cord is still permanently attached to the puck and can't be replaced if damaged. Existing 3-in-1 chargers that worked with the original Ultra don't work with the Ultra2.
Samsung's proprietary and not-so-fast charging has become enough of an issue with the Ultra2's larger battery to knock off a star from an otherwise excellent device. I wish they could make standard 25w Qi2.2 charging work in the watch.
Oh, and if I could, I'd take another half star off for giving lefties the number 06 at the top of the bezel. Is a rotating bezel for the Ultra too much to ask?

A good jab with the right improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung made all the right improvement on an already great watch. The watch ultra 2 made all the difference for me over the watch ultra that I had bought a couple years ago. The larger battery is great giving me more time of use and less time to charge. The blood pressure monitor is great for the health monitor and the fitness apps make a lot more sense to the regular person. I am sure the other functions of dive assists , trail running and others will be great as well when I get a chance to use them but I haven't had the chance to use all of the features in this feature either watch in this short period of time. I hope that the galaxy line up continues to lead the personal tech industry so I can continue to buy their products with confidence.
