[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm very much enjoying the watch ultra 2. Coming from the first ultra I really like the subtle improvementa to the design and the new chip works very well. The increased battery life is also very welcome. The part I'm having issues with is how "personalized" it feels. It doesn't feel very personalized right now as far as software. It throws a ton of data at me and doesn't interpret it well, especially new features like fitness index. I have no idea why my numbers are moving in the direction that they are every day. I've been working hard to improve my fitness, and thought I've lost weight and have had objectively better metrics, Samsung health doesn't recognize that, it still just displays a "high" or "needs work" badge, that doesn't help me. I thought the new blood pressure trend feature on the watch would be especially helpful since it's an area I have struggled with and improved, but the metric compares it to the US population, which isn't helpful at all. Clinically, my blood pressure is normal, but it's labeled as "elevated" because if this. Again, doesn't make the experience feel personalized at all. If Samsung can figure out the software, this would be a near perfect watch.

Between the upgraded performance, hands-free Gemini intelligence, and comprehensive wellness tracking, it stands out as the best smartwatch experience available for Android users today. Direct Gemini AI Integration: Having Google Gemini on the wrist completely upgrades the smart experience. Whether triggering quick voice prompts, drafting hands-free text replies, or summarizing complex queries on the fly, Gemini feels genuinely smart and conversational—not like a clunky voice assistant from years past. Deep Galaxy Ecosystem Integration: The watch instantly syncs across Galaxy smartphones, earbuds, and ecosystem devices. Notifications hand off seamlessly, camera controls operate effortlessly, and routines trigger without a hitch. Seamless Upgrade Experience: Upgrading from the original Galaxy Watch Ultra to the Ultra 2 was remarkably effortless. The migration took just five minutes to transfer my setup and carrier plan. Best of all, all 20 of my original Ultra watch bands attach seamlessly to the Ultra 2, so none of my collection goes to waste. Having worn it for three days now, the overall interface and performance feel even smoother across the Galaxy ecosystem.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my ultra 2026 to the ultra 2 mainly due to the bigger battery and thinner profile.
Little did I know there are a huge amount of health monitoring upgrades here as well. The antioxidant monitor as well as the blood pressure monitor is a very cool feature. The blood pressure monitor correlates really well when properly calibrated.
The new bands are also awesome, I love the olive green that came with mine. The device itself is noticeably smaller and more comfortable to wear throughout the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my original ultra watch and saw that the battery and screen was upgraded. This is why I chose the watch 2 ultra. The new battery life is a great plus as I'm not good at remembering to charge the watch. The screen is much brighter which makes it's easier to see in direct sunlight. Overall I'm very pleased with new ultra 2.
