[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is My daily wear watch and as a utility worker it has withstood beautifully, I chose this unit to be able to track myself accurately throughout my days and it hasn't failed me yet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this new watch at launch. I am very happy as being a previous owner of other galaxy watches. The watch screen is very vibrant as well as bright. The responsiveness is uncanny as I have never experienced this with a watch before. The watch is very comfy to wear and the band options are plentiful. I have received very insightful information for fitness tracking and health already double then my last Samsung watch which makes having the Samsung ecosystem or products fulfilling!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy watch ultra 2 because I've been getting the regular watch prior and wanted to try it the big dog and it didn't disappoint. I'm happy with my purchase and will continue to be an ultra fan in the future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 because I wanted the latest Samsung watch while keeping the rugged design, fitness tracking, and everyday features I already enjoyed with my previous Galaxy Watch Ultra. I use the watch throughout the day for notifications, calls, health and fitness tracking, workout data, sleep tracking, and quick access to apps without constantly reaching for my phone. The display is bright and easy to read, performance is very responsive, and the overall build quality feels excellent. I also like how well it integrates with my Galaxy phone and Samsung Health. Coming from the previous Ultra, the transition was easy and the Ultra 2 feels familiar while still being a worthwhile upgrade. My one complaint is the Marine Band design. With the supplied band installed, I have to remove part of the band to place the watch properly on the charging puck. That means repeatedly using the band-release mechanism simply to charge the watch, which seems unnecessary and not ideal for something that will be done almost every day. I switched to another Samsung-compatible band and the problem disappeared. Overall, I am very happy with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. It is fast, comfortable, extremely capable, and has quickly become something I use from the time I wake up until I go to bed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm very much enjoying the watch ultra 2. Coming from the first ultra I really like the subtle improvementa to the design and the new chip works very well. The increased battery life is also very welcome. The part I'm having issues with is how "personalized" it feels. It doesn't feel very personalized right now as far as software. It throws a ton of data at me and doesn't interpret it well, especially new features like fitness index. I have no idea why my numbers are moving in the direction that they are every day. I've been working hard to improve my fitness, and thought I've lost weight and have had objectively better metrics, Samsung health doesn't recognize that, it still just displays a "high" or "needs work" badge, that doesn't help me. I thought the new blood pressure trend feature on the watch would be especially helpful since it's an area I have struggled with and improved, but the metric compares it to the US population, which isn't helpful at all. Clinically, my blood pressure is normal, but it's labeled as "elevated" because if this. Again, doesn't make the experience feel personalized at all. If Samsung can figure out the software, this would be a near perfect watch.
