A nice upgrade in battery and sensors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Samsung watches since those were made for the OS Tizen and I've been loving the progression and the features that have been added throughout the years. This year I chose to upgrade and get the ultra version because I am seriously taking steps to improve my health and I love the tracking capabilities of this device plus the fact that it's really a great companion to my Galaxy z Fold 7. At almost 1 week of constant usage I can say that I do not regret my purchase, I also like how It is lighter that I expected. For those like me were coming from a smaller Samsung watch I think that didn't consider is the fact that I need to upgrade all my bands to the bigger format, but this is not a deal breaker at all. Lastly I love that I need to charge it daily anymore because the battery looks great!!!

Great upgrade from a Watch5 pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been pretty happy with my old watch but the battery life was starting to drag it down. The Watch Ultra2 has really helped in that regard. I chose to upgrade primary due to battery. Another cool thing is compared to my old watch I can really feel the vibration for notifications which is great, I feel like I miss way fewer notifications.

I love everything about this watch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This my first ever smart watch that I've owned. I chose this watch specifically for the battery life and the new bright screen that it has. Having a screen like this makes it very easy to walk around and browse with the watch when the sun is out. The battery life on the other hand last for around two days with the always on display enabled before I have to recharge it again, it pretty much saves me the hassle of always having to charge it. This to me was a great purchase and will look forward to what Samsung release in the future.

Watch Ultra 2 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my ultra to the Ultra 2 and it feels slightly more comfortable. It also runs a lot more smoother. It seems to pick up the work outs a lot more of the time than the Ultra 1. I am still learning how to use some of the new features but so far its one the better ones and most comfortable

GPX uploads on the wrist are a game changer
on August 12, 2026
Posted by: WatchU2
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 mainly for trail use, and the single feature that has paid for itself is being able to load a GPX route directly onto the watch. I plan a hike at home, push the track to my wrist, and then navigate the whole thing without pulling my phone out of my pack. Turn prompts, distance to the next waypoint, and an off-route warning if I wander are all right there. On unfamiliar trails with poor signal, that is genuinely useful rather than a novelty.
GPS accuracy backs it up. The dual-frequency positioning holds a clean track under tree cover and in canyons where my older watch used to draw wandering lines through the terrain. Elevation and pace data come back consistent enough that I actually trust the post-hike numbers.
Battery life is the other standout. I get through multi-day stretches with normal use, and a long day with continuous GPS running does not leave me hunting for a charger by dinner. The display is bright enough to read in direct midday sun without shielding it, which sounds minor until you are squinting at a screen halfway up a climb.
Everything else has been solid: the customizable quick button for starting workouts, sleep tracking that is detailed without being alarmist, and a build that has shrugged off brush, rock, and sweat without a mark. It is a capable everyday smartwatch that happens to be excellent outdoors.
