Ultra 2 watch Finally Gets Almost Everything Right

Every generation improves something, but this time Samsung has focused on the areas that actually matter: performance, durability, battery optimization, AI-powered health tracking, outdoor capabilities, and the overall user experience. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, an adventurer, or someone who simply wants the best smartwatch for daily use, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 delivers an experience that is both polished and incredibly capable.
The first thing you notice is the premium construction. The watch looks rugged without being bulky and feels extremely well-balanced on the wrist. Samsung has maintained the Ultra identity while refining the overall aesthetics. The titanium body gives it a premium feel while keeping the weight surprisingly manageable. It feels solid enough for hiking, cycling, swimming, gym workouts, or simply wearing to the office.

It's the perfect color, size, and has all the features I've been dreaming of. Can't wait to test out the diving features on my trip tomorrow! Setup and data transfer from my old watch were super smooth, taking less than 15 minutes. Great job, Samsung team!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to update my Galaxy Watch Ultra to the Ultra 2 as soon as I got confirmation off the improvements that were being discussed a few months ago. The increase in screen brightness, new processor and battery capacity were things that I have been wanting for a couple of years. I just got the new watch and am thoroughly satisfied with it. The increase in water resistance rating and slightly thinner watch body were unexpected upgrades that were also welcome.

I run and use the Samsung health app everyday and now with the improved design it is lighter and more comfortable. From the start of my morning run to the end of my day the watch remains with me. A part of me.

The band and fitment is already much better than the galaxy watch 7. The weight feels really good and solid. Doesn't feel bulky or clunky. I'm so happy I chose to get the new Ultra 2.
