Awesome new watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to get this watch after having used the galaxy watch 7. It is every bit as good as the 7 and more. I like the brightness of the screen. The "squircle" of the watch as opposed to a regular circle face is exactly what I wanted to have on a watch. It's very responsive when moving from screen to screen. It tracks my workout very well. Overall, just having it for a day and a half it has met my expectations above and beyond!

Absolutely stellar watch

The health tech had allowed me to track my body and to know when im overdoing it and its reminders have kept me on track, from the previous ultra to now it has been crucial to allow me to lose over 75 lbs and keep me on track. So to say its a life saver is an understatement.

Nice update over the previous Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the watch 9 Ultra 2 primarily because of the significantly increased battery storage over my existing Ultra.
I do know that the raise to talk requires quite a significant voice volume in order to be detected. Took me a few attempts to determine that. Not entirely sure how that will work in a public scenario.
The new bands are very soft and very comfortable, and the watch is noticeably thinner than the previous model.
Overall I'm very pleased with the upgrade.

The Ultra 2 is the Smartwatch you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first chose the OG Ultra in 2024. Thought that was a great watch. Some battery limitations. So when the Ultra was announced and had an uograded 800mAh battery... Well I chose this device a 2nd time. Minor tweaking and the discharge rate is
82% per hour. So should easily get 5 days of life. The case is extremely light and one of the most comfortable fits of any device I've had previously. Seamless integration into the galaxy ecosystem made this also a no brainer. Water resistence and the added depth guage and water temp is really cool. Noticeable difference in screen vibrance. Zero lag from screen to screen or navigating apps. It seems like the perfect device. Battery isnt on par with say the t-rex 3 pro. But 5 days is ample and the functionality of the ultra 2, the t-rex can't really compare. This is a high end smart watch. While also elegant in design. So easily an everyday all day device. For me the selling points: upgraded battery, inclusion of dive readings, seamless integration to galaxy samsung ecosystem and the sheer design and look of the watch. Zero hesitation recommending this watch.

Great Upgrade With Better Battery Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Watch Ultra 2 because I wanted better battery life than my 2025 Galaxy Watch Ultra, and so far it has delivered. Battery life is noticeably improved and has been one of the biggest upgrades for me.
I was also happy to find that all of my existing watch bands fit perfectly, including my third-party metal band, so I didn't have to replace any of my accessories. The new gray/silver finish also looks fantastic. It has a more premium appearance than the previous color options and pairs especially well with metal bands.
The only drawback I've noticed is charging compatibility. The Watch Ultra 2 charges on my existing Samsung chargers, but it does so much more slowly. When I use the included charging cable, the watch switches from "Charging" to "Fast Charging," and the difference is noticeable. It appears that getting the best charging performance requires the newer charging cable, which means older charging accessories don't provide the same experience.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Watch Ultra 2. The improved battery life, premium design, and compatibility with my existing watch bands make it feel like a worthwhile upgrade. I just wish the newer fast charging system worked at full speed with older Samsung charging accessories.
