[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Watch 9, upgrading from a watch 6. The longer battery life, updated activity/health features, and updated UI are well thought out and well built.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This purchase was an upgrade from an older model Samsung Watch. I absolutely love it!! I opted for the blue fabric band and I am extremely pleased with me choice! It's incredibly comfortable and a beautiful color!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the main reason I choose the galaxy watch 9 is the new snapdragon wear elite chip. older models could be slow, but this one is super fast and loading apps is way better.
the screen is crazy bright outside hitting 3000 nits. the design kept that squircle cushion shape, and it's super lightweight with an aluminum case. it doesn't bother me at all wearing it all day on a job site.
the health tracking is solid too. it tracks my vitals and gives coaching to help me sleep better. the battery life is just okay, mostly lasting about a day, but the overall speed boost makes it worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose and have been wearing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 for a bit now, and honestly, it is a great tech upgrade even if it looks exactly like the old one. Samsung basically kept the same design but swapped out all the internals, and you feel that difference the second you start using it.
The biggest change is how fast it is. The new Snapdragon chip makes navigating around the menus incredibly smooth, with zero lagging or stuttering. The screen is also shockingly bright now. I had no issues reading texts outside in the middle of a bright day. They also finally gave the smaller 40mm version a bigger battery, so you can actually get through a full day and a whole night of sleep tracking without worrying about it dying.
On the health side, it does a lot more passive tracking now, giving you a heart health score and watching your vitals overnight to spot any weird trends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am a Samsung fan since the Note 2, and after trying various watches I decided a more minimalist watch since my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2024 just started feeling too big and heavy for me. I chose to upgrade because this watch has the new Snapdragon processor, it has a bright display, and all the features I've come to expect in a daily wear Watch. The operating system is smooth and efficient enough to last me throughout the whole day. It is lightweight and very stylish especially the white color it goes with my new Fold 8. I still need to dive deeper into the health features but already did one night of the sleep apnea and link to my service provider since i chose the LTE model over the Wi-Fi for convenience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded from the Galaxy Watch4 Classic. I loved that watch, but I chose the Watch9 as it provides all of the features that I need to support my active lifestyle. The display is great and so easy to read. Thank you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Galaxy watches for several years now. The latest watch is more comfortable than last years model and comes in a dark graphite color again. I enjoy the variety of features available and the depth of the customization. My only complaint as of this writing is that 3rd party chargers are not working with the Watch 9. Chargers that work fine with the Watch 8. I've looked online and there are many complaints of the same issue. Hopefully a software update is all that's needed to resolve. 4/5 *
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Samsung Galaxy Watches for years, and at this point I care less about flashy new features and more about whether a new model actually improves everyday use. I chose the Galaxy Watch 9 after using the 7 and 8, and the difference is noticeable. At 44, the health and fitness tracking has become increasingly important to me. I like being able to see my activity, sleep, heart rate, and overall health trends without obsessing over the numbers. Having that information available is reassuring, especially during stressful moments. There have been several times when anxiety made me feel like my heart was racing, only to check the watch and see that my heart rate was actually normal. That little bit of objective information has genuinely helped me stave off a few anxiety attacks before they spiraled. The Watch 9 also feels noticeably faster and smoother than the 7 or 8. Menus respond more quickly, interactions feel more immediate, and the touch sensor areas seem more precise. I experience far fewer accidental swipes or taps, which makes a surprisingly big difference on such a small screen. Overall, this feels like refinement rather than reinvention. It's familiar, but faster, smoother, and more polished. For me, the health insight and occasional reassurance alone make it something I genuinely appreciate having on my wrist every day.
