My First Smartwatch and I’m Loving It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch 9 44mm is the first smartwatch I’ve ever owned, and so far I’m really enjoying it. I chose this watch because of the improved battery life, GPS tracking, exercise features, and the ability to raise my wrist and talk to Gemini.
One of my favorite features is the vibrating alarm. I can wake up in the morning without a loud alarm waking up my partner, which is a small feature that makes a big difference.
Most importantly, having LTE gives me the freedom to go out and exercise without bringing my phone. I can listen to my music, track my workouts and GPS, and make or receive calls right from my watch. It’s really nice being able to leave my phone behind and still stay connected.
I’m still learning everything this watch can do, but for my first smartwatch, I’m very happy with my choice.

I love how easy it is to stay connected, keep track of my activity, check notifications, and manage everyday tasks right from my wrist. The features are impressive, the display is beautiful, and it pairs perfectly with my Galaxy phone. It feels like having a little personal assistant right on my wrist. Overall, I absolutely love my Galaxy Watch 9 and would definitely recommend it!

With each generation, Samsung has refined the design, expanded the feature set, and deepened the integration with the broader Galaxy ecosystem. Even with that history, I wasn’t prepared for just how significant an upgrade the Galaxy Watch 9 would be. After several weeks of daily use, I can say without hesitation that this is the most impressive Galaxy Watch I’ve owned — not because of one flashy feature, but because of how seamlessly everything works together.Upgrading from my Galaxy Watch 7 was effortless. In fact, “effortless” doesn’t quite capture it. The transfer process was so smooth, so fast, and so complete that it felt almost magical. Within minutes, my apps, settings, watch faces, health data, and preferences were restored exactly as I left them. No digging through menus, no re‑pairing accessories, no tedious setup screens. It was the kind of transition that makes you forget you’re using a new device. Every day since upgrading, I’ve discovered something new: a feature I didn’t expect, a refinement I didn’t know I needed, or a performance improvement that quietly elevates the entire experience. It’s rare for a device to surprise me. I'm very happy . Great upgrade.

Great health tracking love improved battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have the Galaxy Watch 8 40mm model, but I chose to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 9 40mm model, and it has been a wonderful experience so far. I decided to take a run in the rain today, and thanks to it being waterproof, there was no need to worry! The new Gemini "Raise to Talk" has so far been my favorite new feature. I love it so much! Thank you, Samsung!
