Terrible battery

I'm definitely experiencing battery problems with the 9. AOD is off, continuous health monitoring is off, NFC is off. And still, it loses about 70% of its charge over 20 hours, even on days when I'm just sitting at home. I went for an hour-long walk the other day and its charge went from 80% to 5%!!!

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Galaxy Watch9 is offered in two versions: 40mm with a 390 mAh battery and 44mm with 445 mAh battery. The higher capacity versions allow your Galaxy Watch9 to require less frequency in charging. This means you can keep the Watch powered throughout the day with minimal downtime. While you're using your Galaxy Watch9 without enabling AOD, you should expect to receive about 40 hours of usage time. Up to 30 hours if you're utilizing AOD! It can take some time for your new Galaxy Watch9 to finish background indexing, learning your daily habits, and settling into its normal, optimized battery life. You're able to fix battery drain, by disabling Always-On Display (AOD), turning off continuous background health checks, and restarting your watch. If you're experiencing less than optimal battery life on your new device, please take a moment to check out the resources provided below to help resolve what you have described. Great item....does everything you need.

Along with all the great health features it's one of kind something you can't do without. All this while carrying the great name of Samsung along a Samsung phone this makes a great team of connection and speed and keeping track of health problems that may happen. Love them features covering stress, sleep, heart rate and ekg. It's got you covered on all fronts. Also its water resistant and looks great on your wrist. This device it really worth the price.

Love my Samsung 9 40mm!!!

I really love how well it tracks my health and sleep, helping me keep up with things I needed help with. Plus, it's incredibly easy to use....I made the right decision and love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 as an update to my Galaxy Watch 7. I wanted the extra health features such as blood pressure and marker tracking.
The Watch has done great with those things but doesn't do so well cooperating with my phone (also a Galaxy device).
I rarely receive vibration or sound notice of incoming texts or other app messages on either device. They still show on prompt but not any physical or audible notification. I'm hoping this to be a software glitch that gets worked out with an update, since this was a pre-order Watch.
All the software and app features work very well.

Coming from the Galaxy Watch6, I can definitely say upgrading to the Galaxy Watch9 was worth it! I already enjoyed my Watch6, so I honestly wasn’t sure how much of a difference I would notice, but the Watch9 feels smoother, more polished, and even better for everyday use.

I love how comfortable and stylish it is, and the display looks amazing. Everything feels quick and responsive, and I use it throughout my entire day, from checking notifications while I’m working, to tracking my activity and workouts, keeping up with my health goals, and just having important information right there on my wrist.
One of my favorite things about Samsung watches is how customizable they are. I can change the look depending on my mood, outfit, workday, or workout, and it still feels like a watch that actually fits my personality instead of just another piece of technology.
Since I already use Samsung devices, I also love how easily everything works together. The transition from my Watch6 to the Watch9 was simple, but the overall experience feels like a nice upgrade.
So far, I’m extremely happy with my Galaxy Watch9. If you already have an older Galaxy Watch and you’re debating whether to upgrade, I’d definitely recommend giving the Watch9 a try. It has quickly become one of my favorite everyday Samsung devices along with many others! 💜⌚
