[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to trade-in my Galaxy Watch8 for the new Galaxy Watch9 mainly to get the LTE service my phone carrier provides with my plan. I am glad I did because it is noticeably faster which makes my overall health monitoring very efficient. I am particularly impressed with the accuracy of the blood pressure when compared to an inflatable upper arm cuff monitor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the ultra watches for a few years now, the 2024, 2025 watches froze, weekly, daily, reboot, clean the catche, etc etc, no fix. Traded in the 2024 for a non freezing 2025. Nope it froze also. I loved the ultras, the data etc. the 2023, was the last ultra to not freeze. So traded in my ultra 2025 for the galaxy 9. Yeah a non freezing watch. I did not want another freezing watch so left the ultra line and went back to the Galaxy line, 9 new.
5 days after starting to wear it, it froze, once. Reboot, the next day 3 times. Returning it now.
I love the watch, how it tracks, connects to the phone. Tracks my health, exercise etc.
I HATE that it freezes, only fix reboot.
I am a very loyal Samsung user. Tablets, phones, watches.
I wish they would fix this recurring issue, going on for years now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this watch because I really wanted something reliable when it comes to fitness metrics. I've had it for about 8 workouts now and I love it! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great smart watch that won't let you down.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from Watch 8 because not a fan of watch 8. The new Galaxy watch 9 is a slight improvement from previous series. Noting earth shattering but a set up. The charging seams to be slower that watch 8. But so far that's my only complaint besides the band. As you can see I got a new bad and face protector. The improvements to Health is great and UI 9 is also great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from a Galaxy watch 5 as it had been a trusty partner for a long time. My new Galaxy watch 9 is vastly superior in every way
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy watch 9 44mm for the size and I do not regret it. The graphics and performance are smooth and clear across all of the applications.
I am able to use my watch to manage my day even without my phone. I am extremely happy with this upgrade and love the new shape!
I traded in my galaxy watch 8 due to the promise of better battery life. I've had my watch for about a week and need to charge it in the morning and before sleeping. I changed all of my settings for better battery usage. I bought this because of all that it offers but if I can't last a day I'm not sure it's worth it. Very disappointed. It's a good watch that has many solid and useful features. I hope this major issue can be resolved.

Aloha Geri, Thanks for taking the opportunity to reach out and share your insights with us regarding your recent experience using the new Samsung Galaxy Watch9. Your feedback is appreciated as we continue to innovate while making improvements on our product line to suit the needs of our customers. Samsung offers a 12-month warranty on your Watch9 for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Galaxy Watch9 is offered in two versions: 40mm with a 390 mAh battery and 44mm with 445 mAh battery. The higher capacity versions allow your Galaxy Watch9 to require less frequency in charging. This means you can keep the Watch powered throughout the day with minimal downtime. While you're using your Galaxy Watch9 without enabling AOD, you should expect to receive about 40 hours of usage time. Up to 30 hours if you're utilizing AOD! Since your Galaxy Watch9 is brand new, your device is still indexing at the moment, syncing apps, and calibrating to your usage patterns. To fix immediate battery drain, you can disable Always-On Display (AOD), turn off continuous background health checks, and restart your watch. Please take a look at the resources shared below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing. Feel free to contact Samsung Support afterward if you would like additional assistance. Thank you for being an integral part of the Samsung community! - Debra
