New beginnings

I chose me this new watch will help me along my health journey as a 53-year-old woman it will help me to be aware of my sleep happens as well as physical activity. I love the design and how lightweight it is on my wrist.

Absolutely LOVE My New Samsung Watch 9!I

First, the fit is AMAZING. It’s so comfortable and lightweight that after a little while, I honestly forget I’m even wearing it—which is exactly what I want in a smartwatch.
One of my absolute favorite features is being able to customize the watch face with my own photos. 💕 I love being able to make my watch feel completely mine instead of being stuck with a handful of generic designs.
But Samsung REALLY nailed the new software and glass design. Swiping through the screens is unbelievably smooth—seriously, it feels like BUTTER. 😂 Everything feels fast, fluid, responsive and incredibly polished.
The combination of the gorgeous display, updated software, smooth navigation, customization and ridiculously comfortable fit makes this easily one of my favorite Samsung upgrades.
If you love customizing your tech and want a smartwatch that looks beautiful, feels fantastic on your wrist and is just plain FUN to use—this one is a winner.

Started out great, 3 weeks later its awful

For the first few weeks I owned my Watch 9, 40mm Bluetooth version, it was great, battery life was excellent. It was comfortable to wear and battery life was as good as my Watch 8. However the last 4 days battery life has been terrible. I cant even get 12 hours out of it before the battery is almost drained. I contacted support, they were no help at all. Unfortunately I traded in my Watch 8 for this Watch 9 and already mailed it back to Samsung. Samsung says if I return my Watch 9, I cant have my Watch 8 back. Which is ridiculous, they know which one they have is mine, because they inspect it and give a report if it passed inspection or not. So now I'm stuck with a useless watch 9. They insist there is nothing wrong with it because the battery test app says its fine, but clearly its not. Also bizarre, its charging way too fast. Normally its 90 minutes to close to 2 hours to charge from 10% to 100%, but when this battery drain issue started, its also charging crazy fast. Like under 30 minutes for 10% to 100%. I dont know if there was an update in the last week, or if it just suddenly became defective, but I'm seeing people on Reddit and Samsung Members app complaining of the same issue. While Samsung pretends nothing is wrong. I've had numerous Samsung watches over the years and never had an issue with any of them. I'm extremely disappointed wit this one. Do better Samsung and stop denying there is a problem and fix it.

The higher capacity allows your Galaxy Watch9 to require less frequency in charging. This means you can keep the Watch powered throughout the day with minimal downtime. While you're using your Galaxy Watch9 without enabling AOD, you should expect to receive about 40 hours of usage time. Up to 30 hours if you're utilizing AOD! To fast charge your Samsung Galaxy Watch 9, plug the official magnetic USB-C charging puck included in the box into a USB-C power adapter that outputs at least 5V/2A (10W or higher), and place the back of the watch flat against the center of the pad. If you're experiencing less than optimal battery life on your new device, please take a moment to review the resources provided below to help resolve what you may be experiencing.
