Samsung did great on the Galaxy Watch 9

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this watch and I'm happy I chose it. Compared to my previous Watch 7, it's slimmer and more comfortable on my wrist, the battery lasts much longer, the software feels smoother, and more. Plus there are plenty of new interesting features that help me with daily life, especially the new health features. I do, however, miss the tuck-under band. But overall, Samsung really did great on the Galaxy Watch 9.

I bought the 40mm blutetooth. Overall the featured and personalisation on the watchfaces is a solid 10/10.
However, the battery life is horrific and I wouldnt recommend this watch for this reason alone. I've had it for 1 week so far and have not once gotten a full 24hrs use from it. I have needed to charge twice in a day a couple of times already. Full charged it early yesterday evening and its now at 34% and its not even 9am.... I log my water, exercise and check the info on the watchface and thats about it. I dont text, answer calls or use other features to help preserve the battery. I chose this over a different brand for easy connectivity and am regretting my decision. Best to look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To fix immediate battery drain, you can disable Always-On Display (AOD), turn off continuous background health checks, and restart your watch. My 1st Smartwatch

I'm not exactly a techie person but I'm enjoying the different areas that this watch provides for me. Still finding my way but very happy with this purchase.

The sound and notifications are much louder... In my profession that's a must. I've just gotten it so I'm finding many features I never had before. I'm glad I choose this watch.
