Powerful and versatile!

I have been really happy with the shark power detect transformer so far. The suction is impressive, and it does a great job picking up everything from daily dust to pet hair. Every time I empty the bin, I am surprised by how dirty my house was!
The detection feature works well and automatically adjusts as I move from hardwood to rugs. One thing to mention is that it’s a little on the heavy side. That said, the transformer design makes up for this. Being able to quickly switch configurations and use the lighter detached portion makes a big difference with the weight and lets you maneuver tighter spaces easily. Overall, it’s powerful, versatile and feels well designed. I would definitely recommend.

High powered vacuum!

Overall I am extremely impressed by this vacuum. It is a little big and a little heavy but it is super easy to maneuver it around the room. The cord is also extremely long which really helps. The smart technology which adjusts based on the surface you’re vacuuming is perfect for any room. I was also extremely impressed by the tank capacity, you can do several vacuums without needing to empty it. Overall just a great vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely the most feature packed vacuum I’ve ever owned! I was really looking forward to the different transformations and sure those are great. Being able to get under our couch and counters with the stick mode without having to totally rearrange the room to do so, or the handheld mode to clean baseboards and our dryer vent, has been time saving. If Monica Geller had this she’d be stoked that her vacuum and her vacuum for her vacuum were the same vacuum!
But the thing I love the most about it is the little stuff. The vacuum doesn’t actually run when it’s turned on and just sitting there, only when you’re actually using it so it’s not making noise when it doesn’t need to. It automatically swaps to carpet mode when you go over carpet. And the odor neutralizing scent cartridge makes the air smell good rather than like musty old vacuum canister. I mean look, it’s still a vacuum, but it’s much less of a sensory nightmare than any other one I’ve had!
My one complaint though is that the suction isn’t as strong in stick and handheld mode as it is in canister mode, but honestly that’s made up for in my mind by how lightweight and easy it is to carry it around while in handheld mode. I’ve found myself wandering from room to room using it to dust shelves without thinking much about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got mine last week and couldn’t wait to use it! Had actually just vacuumed my house the day before and was in shock at what the shark picked up! Love the light feature on hardwood and that it detects what type of flooring it is on and adjusts accordingly. This is a great vacuum and I’d recommend for a home with a baby, a toddler and a shedding dog all day!

I absolutely love this vacuum! It has incredibly strong suction and does an excellent job on both hardwood and carpet. I love that it picks up in both forward and backwards motion and that it is also a handheld and a stick vacuum. The only con I have found so far is that it is very heavy.

I have always loved my shark vacuum it died after 12 years. I replaced it with the Transformer. Which is very heavy hard to navigate the cord Tangles so much worse than the last chord I can't clean my throw rugs cuz when I turn the brush off there's not enough suction to get the dog hair out to clean the chamber where all the dirt collects you have to pull it out it doesn't just release. I'm sure all the fancy new attachments are awesome I like being able to lift away and go under the bed and under furniture but I really preferred my old Shark Rotator to the Transformer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum being so versatile has been ideal for our apartment living!! Having it transform and having modular modes is great for vacuuming the floor and above it as well. We have a golden retriever and cat who live in a perpetual shedding contest and since using this vacuum it seems like neither is winning!! The auto-evacuation of the stick mode is also one of the coolest home tech features I’ve ever seen.
