[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a quadruple amputee, I’m always looking for hair tools that make styling feel easier and more manageable—and the Shark FlexStyle Ion Curl has been such a win for me. 💗✨
The biggest thing for me is that I don’t have to constantly manipulate a traditional curling iron or wrap my hair around a hot barrel. The airflow helps automatically wrap my hair around the curler, which makes such a difference with my upper-extremity prosthetics. I can get soft, bouncy curls with less grip strength, less wrist movement, and fewer complicated motions.
I also love that it’s lightweight, versatile, and gives me that salon-style blowout look without needing multiple tools. There’s still a little bit of a learning curve when switching sides and positioning the barrel, but compared to a traditional curling iron, it’s much more accessible for me.

It makes styling my hair so much easier, and I love being able to switch between the different attachments depending on the look I want. My hair comes out looking smooth, bouncy, and styled without feeling like I have to use multiple tools. One of my favorite things about it is how quickly it dries my hair while I’m styling. It really cuts down on my drying time, and I love that I can go from wet hair to a smooth, bouncy style with one tool. My hair comes out feeling smooth with less frizz. I am surprised at how well my curls last they can stay looking good for days, so I don’t feel the need to keep restyling my hair with heat every day. I love that I can achieve beautiful, bouncy curls while minimizing my heat exposure, which helps me keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. My hair comes out smooth, shiny, and with less frizz every time and the lilac color is also absolutely gorgeous and looks so pretty on my vanity. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using it and love the results!

The Upgrade My Hair Needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the original Shark FlexStyle for a while now, so I was really excited to try the new FlexStyle IonCurl, and honestly, I can tell a difference! The IonCurl feels more powerful than the original, and it smooths my hair so much faster and easier. I get that sleek, polished look with less effort and fewer passes through my hair. The biggest surprise for me, though, has been the Airwrap attachment. It curls my hair noticeably faster, and the curls actually last longer! If you already own the original FlexStyle, I'd say the IonCurl is a really noticeable upgrade. The extra power, smoother finish, faster styling, and longer-lasting curls make a difference. I'm seriously impressed!

Loving my flexstyle

I’m a big fan of the flexstyle — especially the new pretty purple one (my first was more of a gold color) and I love how easy it is to use. Ends are simple to switch to curl both sides. Mind you, I have a ton of hair, and it used to take me over an hour to attempt a curl (that then fell flat) but now it doesn’t. The regular head (with the turning top) is my go to for shiny hair when just drying. No heat damage here, super appreciate of that.
