Easy to learn, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The FlexStyle Iron Curl dries my hair quickly and smoothly with an easy to hold wand using the oval brush. Straight out of the box, it has easy to follow directions for use of each attachment. The curling wand attachments are labeled for use on right side versus left side of head. It took me a couple times to get the direction of air flow for my hair to wrap around the wand correctly and not fly in my face, but truly less 20 seconds to figure out and referring quickly to the instructions on the box gave me tips on where to start wrapping my hair (there's an arrow on the curling wand). It worked better for me when I did smaller sections. I have fine hair that is naturally a little wavy when I air dry it. I will try holding the curl for longer and giving it a boost of cold air to help it stay set, plus a bit of product. I will also be recommending this to my mom, who has some trouble reaching overhead - the wand is long and easy to reach with so she will love it too.

Good blowout, hard to curl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the flex ion curl very fast so I was impressed with the service. I was very disappointed that I was not able to curl my hair without a lot of guidance. The hair didn't stick as well to the curler. The brush attachment was a home run and I would give only that attachment five stars and only one star for the actual curling attachments. My hair felt smooth after the blowout. It was too noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fast blowout, a little too loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the Shark Ninja Ion Flex curl in the mail and it showed up very quickly. For reference I have 3a/b curly hair. I tried to give myself a blowout with the brush attachment and it was very quick and easy. One of the key issues is that it was extremely loud. I felt the need to stick cotton in my ears to make the sound more tolerable. However the blowout was very quick, maybe only 10 minutes. I then tried to curl my hair with the product and did not find that it was very easy. My hair did not attach very well to the machine and I felt like I had to wrap it physically to get a good grip I think they should have made the instructions more clear. It was also difficult to find the coolshot button mid curling. The smoothening attachment did not work as well as I thought it would. It's still difficult to use. I think it was a little too loud but if you want a fast blow out, it's worth getting it.

Incredible product with tons of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer that this review is coming from someone who has maybe tried to curl her hair twice in her life. So this product did not automatically turn me into a hairdresser unfortunately. But I think with more practice I could get better results. It dried my hair so fast I barely even had time to style it while it was damp. I have short hair right now so that made it a little harder. You definitely have to get it started by wrapping a section of hair around the wand but it is pretty amazing how quickly it grabbed the hair. It did not get tangled or stuck at all. My curls immediately fell out but I think that's my own lack of experience doing it and no product or hair spray. But a friend did notice I had more volume even after they fell out. With the blowout/brush attachment, I wasn't really able to get the ends to curl in like they did in the video but could also be user error/my current length. The smoother attachment is really amazing because I do feel like I get a lot of frizz when I dry my hair, and this magically got rid of it. The only other feedback I have is that it was a bit easy to accidentally press one of the buttons while youre twisting the wand. All the features are really amazing and the videos were helpful. If I was more of a girly girl this would be even more of an incredible product I think.

Best all in one hair drying and styling tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a different brand dryer brush and was excited to try the Shark FlexStyle Ion Curl. The ability to dry, curl, and style with one tool is what attracted me to this product. When I received my package and opened the box I was immediately impressed with the packaging. There was a short instruction sheet on the inside of the box with a QR code that led to How-To videos. The tool itself is easy to use. It has a short learning curve. The dryer mode has cut my drying time in half. I have curly hair and it usually takes awhile to straighten it out with my previous dryer brush. The Shark makes it quick and easy. I love the FrizzFighter High Shine Polisher! It really works to tame those little flyaways. I tried the auto wrap curler attachments and could not believe how fast I was able to transform my straightened hair into bouncy curls. If I had to name one thing I would change, it would be to include a bag or case for storing. For the most part this product has exceeded my expectations!

Effortless, even on thick wavy hair

My hair came out sleek with real bounce, and the blowout held instead of falling flat by the end of the day. Frizz stayed under control without me going back over sections. Switching the attachments takes seconds, so one tool covers smoothing and curling. I’d recommend it to a friend without hesitating.
