Long lasting curls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a lot, and I really mean A LOT hair products - airstylers, regular heated curlers, non-heated curlers - and the results with this tool blew my mind. It gave me bouncy curls that I feel I only ever get from my fully heated tools (which are unfortunately the most damaging) but they didn't feel dry or make my hair feel brittle, and they actually lasted (even through a pretty intense gym workout)
and the speed this machine gives, is also pretty great. I went from wet to dry in about 10-15 minutes (and as someone who has a lot of hair, that is amazing)

Powerful, Fast, and So Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Air Styling & Drying System! Starting with the hair dryer itself, I was really impressed with how quickly it dried my hair. It has so much power, and I definitely noticed a difference in how fast I was able to dry my hair compared to a regular hair dryer. When I straightened my hair, I used the oval brush attachment to style it, and I absolutely loved it. It made it really easy to smooth out my hair while also giving it some volume and shape. I also used the de-frizz attachment, and I honestly think it helped 100%. My hair looked noticeably smoother and more finished after using it, so those are definitely two attachments I can see myself reaching for all the time. As for the curlers, I have a little more mixed feelings. I do like them, but I don't necessarily love them as an actual curling tool. When I first finished my hair, the curls looked beautiful and had a ton of volume, but after about an hour or so, I noticed that they started to fall out. Instead of looking like I had curled my hair, it started to look more like a very voluminous blowout. It still looked beautiful, and I actually really liked the final result, but if I specifically wanted to "curl curl" my hair and have more defined curls that lasted, I don't think this would completely replace my regular curling iron. I would personally think of the curlers more as a blowout tool than a traditional curler. I also have naturally curly hair, so one thing I noticed was that you could see some of my natural curl pattern at my roots, and then it transitioned into the styled curl from the FlexStyle. To be fair, this is something I tend to have an issue with whenever I curl my hair. I usually end up straightening my roots and the top section of my hair first before going in and curling the rest. The next time I use the FlexStyle curlers, I would probably straighten or smooth out the top of my hair first and then use the curling attachments. I think that would give me a much more seamless result. I also really loved how fast and easy the curlers were to use. It was so nice not having to rotate the tool myself. I could keep my hand in one position, simply press a button, and let the FlexStyle do the work for me. One other small thing I wish the system included is some kind of carrying or storage case. There are several attachments, so even just a simple bag to keep everything together would be really helpful, especially for storing it at home or traveling with it. Overall, I really love this product. The more I use it and get used to the different attachments, the more I like it. The hair dryer itself is powerful and dries my hair incredibly fast, I love the oval brush, and I was really impressed by the de-frizz attachment. While I personally wouldn't call the curling attachments a replacement for a traditional curling iron, they still made my hair look really pretty and gave me a beautiful, voluminous blowout. I can definitely see myself continuing to use the FlexStyle!!

Great tool

I have lightly textured hair, and the curling wands did a great job smoothing my hair without causing much frizz, which I usually get from hair dryers. I’m excited to keep trying out the other attachments and see what else it can do. And love the color!

Great for Postpartum Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone navigating the fun world of postpartum hair regrowth, the FlexStyle IonCurl has quickly become one of my favorite styling tools. Those little baby hairs around my hairline seemed determined to stand straight up no matter what product I used, leaving me with constant frizz and flyaways.
The IonCurl gives me soft, polished curls while helping blend all those shorter regrowth pieces into the rest of my hair. Instead of fighting stubborn flyaways or worrying about breakage from constantly trying to smooth them down, the airflow helps sweep everything into place for a more effortless, put-together look (much appreciated on little sleep).

Better curls, less frizz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an OG FlexStyle owner & user, I can say that the IonCurl is definitely a great step up if you are someone who has a hair routine and loves to do at-home styling.
Right off the bat, I loved the color and the lightweight feeling to the styler. It’s easy to hold and maneuver when styling, and the new pause button on airflow is extremely useful when releasing curls, or just pausing for a moment.
The real star of the show was the new curlers - I definitely noticed a difference in how the air wrap clings my hair to the barrels and I do feel like my curls are lasting longer because of the newer technology.
Lastly, as a curly hair girl, my hair often gets frizzy even right after I style, and I noticed that with IonCurl, my hair had less frizz off the bat and stayed frizz-free.

Amazing tool that kept my curls defined!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a beginner to curling hair, this tool made curling my hair so easy. My curls have lasted overnight and overall for around a day and a half (significantly longer than I was able to with a normal curling iron) with good definition and more volume than normal! The overall tool is nice: it blow dries like a normal blow drier, with easy to use attachments, and works well to customize to individuals and styles (such as ability to lower heat). One thing I noticed is that because the curler uses hot air to create the style, it was a bit harder to create curls that weren’t just at the ends (due to the tool blowing hot air near my scalp, which was sometimes too hot to bear).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Incredible volume and bounce

A lay very flat so I’m constantly looking for way to increase the volume and bounce. This definitely does the trick. It dries my hair so quickly. I love the heat control and the air flow functions. I’ve been curling my hair with the wands and it looks like I used a curling iron but are longer lasting and I know better for my hair.
