It’s ok but not the quality I expect from GE. It’s all plastic and the crumb tray doesn’t hold crumbs when you move the toaster even a little. I doubt it will last long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally had to get a new toaster after 20 years and noticed the great brand name and design of this toaster. It is very affordable and will look nice with my stainless steel appliances in my new kitchen. I know several people who have recommended GE products and I have several.

Best bagel toaster I have ever owned, little strange on toast on 7 for it to look like toast but a little too much 6 1/2 to light, but I still would say a good toaster

Purchased several toasters before finding this one that toasts evenly and is consistent.
The design is good looking which helps because it sits out on my counter. Manual dial selecter means less things to go bad (like digital displays) overall I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

We have loved this toaster after having a few bad experiences with other brands. I make homemade bagels and we use our toaster a lot and it toasts them perfectly.

An okay toaster

Toasts well but not always consistent with the outcome. Sometimes it's darker, sometimes lighter and once in a while barely toasted at all on one side but very dark on the other. Hasn't burnt any bread yet nor has it allowed it to come up without being toasted at all on both sides. I eat toast just about every morning so it would be nice to be able to set it and forget it and have it cook the same each and every time. But it was a gift and my old one wasn't toasting anymore so I will use it and hope for the best each time. It does toast 4 slices at a time which is nice.
