This is the worst toaster I have ever had in my 70 years

ok, but not great

Won't toast both sides of the bread at all evenly. I stop the toaster partway through the process, flip the bread and finish. Never quite sure what I'll get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful toaster but we haven't used it yet. Bought GE because this toaster was rated well and GE is an American company. Buy local you know. We will be purchasing a GE stove and microwave soon for the same dependability ratings.

My hunt is over!

Over the past couple of years I have tried several brands and price levels. I have had none that did an acceptable job of toasting any type or brand of bread, etc. They either came out not toasted evenly, burnt or not able to change settings properly. Since I received this toaster, I have used it on all types of loaf bread and bagels. So far, near perfect. I am very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has all the necessary features, easy to clean. Nice long cord allows me to place it any way on my counter. The slick metalic look goes perfectly with my stainless-steel appliances.
