The porta filler has plastic on the inside!

We were so excited to get this mini and take it on the trip with us. The size seemed perfect and we already had the larger version of this at home so we were sure it would be a smaller version of what we have. Unfortunately, unlike our full size one that is made of all stainless steel, the portafiller on this one has plastic on the inside. Hot water runs through it. This is a very cheap short cut to take, and on a product of this price point, we did not expect this at all. Ninja, do better! Make the porta filler all stainless steel like it is on your other machines. You know better than to use plastic in an area that has hot water passing through it. We all have enough microplastic floating in our system without having to add more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small Footprint, Barista-Quality Lattes—I Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift from my generous son and absolutely love it! I had always dreamed of owning an espresso machine but didn't want to give up so much counter space to a typically large machine. The Café Mini Plus is perfect for me.
I love my morning latte, and being able to make my own—and any kind of coffee drink for visiting friends and family—is a delight. Once you get the hang of it, the machine is super easy to use. The setup and instructions, both written and online (including helpful videos), make it easy to learn. And like everything I've used from SharkNinja, the design is so well thought out that everything feels intuitive and the learning curve is minimal.
The machine looks beautiful on my countertop and is a pleasure to use. Best of all, I can now make delicious lattes and other coffee drinks at home that are every bit as good as what I get from my local barista!
Thank you, SharkNinja, for continuing to create such high-quality, thoughtfully designed products for the home. I'm a devoted fan!
