Perfect time to upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been holding onto my S22 Ultra for a minute. I'm SO glad I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8. The jump feels like night and day by comparison. Everytime I find a new feture that my old phone didn't have it's like a present surprise. Audio quality, more features, apps function smoothly. And the Z Fold 8 is very versatile. Love this new selfie option. I have a lot of options for viewing my apps. And I just can't get enough of the compact feel when it's closed. It just feels so efficient. I get to what I want when it's closed and if I need more I can open it. I'm really amazed at how convenient this feels. I feel like I wouldn't choose anything different than this moving forward.

The perfect form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose pistachio. I have owned the zfold4 and zfold6 and always wished for a wider device and Samsung answered my wish. I am sure the size is not right for everyone but it's a perfect fit for me. I am not a professional photographer so the cameras seem to work great for me. I do love to ingest loads of news and social media content and it is a pleasure on this device. I am also a multi tasker so it is not uncommon to find me with my work schedule, calendar and phone app open on the screen at the same time. Thanks Samsung for finally making the phone that fits me.

Excellent innovation for my daily life

The folding screen technology is amazing; it allows me to split the display seamlessly between streaming my favorite content and working on school tasks at the same time. During my free time, gaming feels incredibly immersive thanks to the bright, expansive panel. The multi-tasking features have drastically improved my efficiency, impacting my daily routines in the best way possible. It is responsive, sleek, and highly versatile for both sports tracking and entertainment.

One thing that reallyyy bothers me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold 8. I've been really enjoying the phone. But there are a few things that are breaking the experience for me.
Pros: This is a beast of a phone. It's snappy, good graphics. Media consumption is good. There are some bugs that still need to be worked out, like zoom and Instagram. I wanted something similar to the size of the z flip without having a useless front screen. This really delivers on that. The wider, shorter size has been sooo nice. I don't understand how this hasn't been the norm all along.
Cons: I am so massively bothered by the placement of the camera. It needs to be horizontal across the back, top, center of the phone. There is no reason for it to cascade down the back, right side. It makes the phone rock when I put it down. And it makes the magnet on the back (for a pop grip or wireless charging) off-center. I need to be able to put the phone down flat on its back. The magnet being off-center, to me, is such a massive design flaw.
