The new passport-sized design is nothing short of brilliant. It's compact enough to fit comfortably in one hand or your pocket, yet when unfolded it transforms into a beautiful tablet-like display that's perfect for multitasking, streaming, gaming, reading, and productivity. Samsung has completely reimagined what a foldable phone should feel like, making it more practical for everyday use than previous generations.
Performance is phenomenal. Powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon flagship processor, the Z Fold8 handles everything effortlessly from editing videos and running multiple apps simultaneously to AI-powered features and console quality gaming. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose fold 8 because I needed more from my phone. I need productivity while also being able to stay uptodate and entertained. The phone size is perfect both closed and opened and you can use both the screens in landscape and portrait mode which gives you 4 different ways to view and use the phone. It's a form I did not expect to enjoy this much.

I think the proportions are better. Hopefully the battery as well. I really dont have a bad thing to say about the fold 7 so I expect this one to be amazing!

They completely reimagined the dimensions, and it changes everything about how this phone feels in daily use.
What I Love:
The New "Passport" Ratio: The cover screen is wider, shorter, and actually feels like a normal phone. Typing one-handed on the outer screen is finally seamless without feeling cramped.
Mind-Blowing Weight & Build: At just 201 grams, it’s lighter than standard slab phones. Combined with the new Flex Titanium hinge, it snaps open with complete confidence and sits virtually flat with a barely-there crease.
The Inner Display: Unfolding into a 4:3 tablet aspect ratio makes reading, watching videos, and side-by-side multitasking incredible. Plus, the anti-reflective coating paired with 3,000 nits peak brightness means zero glare outdoors.
Battery Life: The switch to a silicon-carbon battery gives it serious endurance. I easily get through a heavy workday of multi-app multitasking with juice to spare at night.
Things to Keep in Mind:
It carries a premium price tag, and Samsung streamlined the camera setup to dual lenses (focusing heavily on a crisp 50MP main and ultrawide instead of a deep telephoto zoom) to achieve this ultra-thin design. However, the software processing is top-tier, and the trade-off for the thinness and weight is 100% worth it.
