[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been eyeing up foldable phones for a couple years now but couldn't pull the trigger. I finally did and I'm glad I waited until now. I love the size, weight, and shape of the Fold 8 so far. I end up using it close for most of my day to day use, but after work it's perfect for dual screening an episode of something while scrolling through my other apps while I catch up on the day. 100% worth it and 9 can't wait until I figure out all the secrets to make it feel even better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a loyal Fold 7 user, upgrading to the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 has completely blown my expectations out of the water! The most stunning improvement is the totally invisible crease, paired with lightning-fast responsiveness that makes every single swipe feel incredibly premium. Watching videos on this expansive, flawless display delivers a breathtaking level of cinematic immersion that no other device can match. Samsung has truly perfected the foldable experience, and the Fold 8 is hands down the absolute best tech upgrade I’ve ever made!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "I chose" Its nice to see the foldable in a more pleasing aspect ratio. Sure, some apps aren't optimized for it yet, but thats always been the case for folding phones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful phone with vivid colors and a wide screen, making it fantastic for media viewing. While I miss the 10x optical zoom from the S-Ultra for photos, and occasionally wonder if I should have gotten the Fold8 Ultra instead for its slightly different screen dimensions, I truly love watching videos and reading on this device.
The inner screen unfolds to display all my apps instantly, making multitasking and finding what I need effortless. The crease in the middle is barely noticeable, which really highlights the quality of the display, and the wider layout makes reading text much more comfortable. The ability to seamlessly transform from a phone into a tablet makes this a winning device overall.
However, there are a few downsides. The fingerprint reader has been relocated to the power button on the side rather than being under the screen, which will take some getting used to. Additionally, a few of my apps currently do not work properly on this new model, which is a bit disappointing.
Despite a couple of software quirks and the camera trade-offs, the incredible media experience and tablet versatility make this folding phone a keeper.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had folds a while now... deffinetly the best yet. I'm glad I chose the wide. Just a great size!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I was a little nervous switching to a foldable, but I am SO glad I did. The biggest win for me is the front screen—you can actually type on it normally with one hand now without making a million typos!
Opening it up feels like magic every single time. It’s perfect for watching YouTube, reading, or having two apps open side-by-side. It’s also way thinner and lighter in my pocket than I expected. Battery easily lasts me all day with normal use. If you’re on the fence, just get it!
Pros: Cover screen feels normal, super fun to watch videos on, fits easily in pockets.
Cons: A bit of an investment, but totally worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could give me a better experience for both everyday use and multitasking. One of my favorite improvements is the new screen ratio. It feels much more natural and comfortable to use when the phone is folded, and the larger display is great for watching videos, browsing, gaming, and getting work done.
I’m also really impressed with how much the crease has improved. It is much less noticeable during normal use, which makes the inner display feel cleaner and more premium. The overall design feels more refined and practical compared to previous foldable phones I have tried.
I recently switched from a Google Pixel, and so far I am extremely satisfied with the Galaxy Z Fold8. Samsung’s multitasking features work especially well with the large screen, and I enjoy being able to use multiple apps at the same time. The Fold8 has quickly become my main device for work, entertainment, and everyday tasks.
