It's only been one day but so far the device appears to be solid. Functions are very similar to the previous foldable. No major deficiencies so far.

Great Cover Screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Fold 6 and I didn't use the cover screen for anything other can calls because it was too narrow. I chose the Fold 8 over the Ultra because of the wider cover screen. I find myself watching videos and browsing on the cover screen as much as the inside screen!
I love holding it due to its size and form factor. The screens are beautiful and I love all the AI features.

Love the size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone because I had the Flip 6 and 7 but saw the uniqueness of the Z FOLD 8.
Still compact on the outside, but once opened it's like have a mini tablet.
I also brought it because I love reading and this is the perfect size for reading.
Only had it 1 day so far, so I'll be giving another review.

Balancing Form and Function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung hit it on the head Z Fold 8. I've been using their foldables since the original Z Fold and Z Flip, but I've always wanted something in the middle with a usable cover screen that didn't feel too long. For the first time in a while, it feels fun to use a phone.

What a wonderful sleek design and the lavender edition is really elegant! Samsung has really delivered the perfect continuation for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year I debated getting a foldable phone, but decided not to for the time being. Now I am so glad I waited! The new Galaxy Z Fold 8 was the phone I didn't know I wanted until I saw it. As soon as I saw the form factor, I knew it was "the one." It does not disappoint! I chose to preorder it because I didn't want to wait any longer than necessary. It is lighting fast, really good battery life and I love the wide screen on the front and even wider one on the inside. I am looking forward to many happy times together with my new Galaxy Z Fold 8!

My first fold phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love the size of this screen and ability to view multiple pages at the same time. It is great for me because I do a lot of work on their phone. The issue I have is how fast it heats up. I had 2 app running on both screen and in less than 20 mins it gave me over heating message. I did update the software as advised, but still feel that it still heats up pretty fast. I took off the thin Samsung case to let it cool down too. I have not tried opening 2 apps on screen since the update. It feel a little warm even with just one app running but not as bad. I guess I will see if this will be my one and only fold phones.
