Great upgrade from the Fold5

The Fold Experience I Was Waiting For

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted one device that could handle productivity, entertainment, and everyday use without compromise. The large inner display has been especially useful for multitasking, reviewing documents, browsing, watching videos, and running multiple apps at once. When folded, it still works well as a normal everyday phone.
The thinner and lighter design makes a noticeable difference compared with previous Fold models. Performance has been fast and responsive, and the overall software experience feels well optimized for the foldable screen. Galaxy AI features and multitasking tools add practical value rather than feeling like gimmicks.
For me, the Fold8 is more than a phone. It replaces situations where I would normally reach for a small tablet while still fitting in my pocket. So far, it feels like Samsung has refined the Fold into a much more complete everyday device.

This is my favorite phone I have ever had

Who is normally the tech nerd, but this time I was obsessed with the design and the compatibility. I knew I HAD to get my hands on it as soon as possible. So I pre-ordered it without a second thought. I am have been an adamant flip lover since generation 5 & I honestly am so impressed by this new phone it's like the perfect combo of my favorite features of the flip and all specs of the S26. 10/10 Samsung absolutely crushed it with this phone! I LOVE IT

A much needed upgrade from my Z Fold 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a light but powerful phone. I chose 8 over 8 Ultra because its inner screen is better suited for content consumption and gaming. It's much thinner and light than my old Z Fold 5. It's easier to hold in both folded and unfolded states.
The inner screen's selfie camera is still a hole-punch and worse than the old Z fold 5's under-screen camera visually, but at least the aspect ratio means I don't see that as often when watching videos (It still does kind of hurt gaming as it can hide critical UI elements).
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a Z Flip 7 to the Z Fold 8 and I'm very happy I chose this decision. For one, the increased coverscreen size allows me to increase the amount of things I can get done without unfolding. Additionally the form factor is perfect for media consumption and multitasking while not taking up too much space in my pocket. This is the best campanion for e everyday life!
