Definitely an adjustment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I do like the new Fold 8 (wide). It's a bit awkward holding and especially typing when it's unfolded. The screen looks great on most apps. Facebook doesn't play nice with Android tablets and that's how it works even though this is technically a phone. The speakers are loud enough but a bit tinny. The battery life is pretty good. Maybe a smidge worse that the S26U. So far I'm still adjusting and tweaking settings. I'm actually deciding wether or not to keep this or return to my galaxy S26U.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new design for the Z Fold 8 is very impressive and I love how they created it to be in between the fold and the flip. It's so portable, not to big or too slim. Just right. Fits in your hand comfortably. I chose the Z Fold 8 for the capabilities it offers such as it can be a phone on the cover screen and a tablet when you open it. I love it so much! I can definitely see myself using this quite a lot in college. I highly recommend the Z Fold 8. Also watching Netflix when opened is quite amusing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the new Z Fold 8 I chose has been a great fresh experience! Being able to have a convenient passport form factor that can open into a full tablet size is amazing for watching videos or working remotely.
Fold that feels like a complete, polished flagship

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fold that feels like a complete, polished flagship with no compromises. Compared to my previous Fold, this is a major upgrade in almost every way.
The first thing I noticed was how much better it feels in the hand. It's thinner, lighter, and significantly more comfortable to carry and use every day. The refinements may seem subtle on paper, but in real-world use they make a huge difference.
The performance is outstanding. Everything is incredibly fast and fluid, whether I'm multitasking across multiple apps, browsing, gaming, or watching videos. Samsung has also continued to refine the software experience, making the large inner display even more useful for productivity.
The displays are gorgeous. The inner screen is immersive, vibrant, and bright, while the cover screen finally feels like a phone I'd happily use all day without constantly opening the device. The hinge is smoother, the overall build quality feels premium, and the device inspires confidence every time I open it.
Battery life has been excellent for my usage, easily getting me through a full day, and the cameras consistently produce fantastic photos.
What really stands out is how refined the entire experience has become. This doesn't feel like an experimental foldable anymore—it feels like the future of smartphones has finally arrived.
If you've been holding onto an older Fold and wondering whether the upgrade is worth it, my answer is an emphatic yes. The Galaxy Z Fold8 is a substantial leap forward, and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose Galaxy Z fold8 because of the size and fold screen. I found it above and beyond my expectation. Have been using Samsung phones and love everyone I owned. My family keep taking my new fold8 to use. They are loving it as well. I like the size can.now out in my pant pocket easlier. When open and use the whole screen, its like mini touchpad. two devices in one. Love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been into folding phones for a few generations now and was looking forward to the new 8 series. Ultimately I chose the Fold 8 because of the form factor. I miss when phones were smaller, but undeniably I appreciate having a large screen when watching videos. Well, now I can have my petite phone and use it too! The lavender color is a bonus.
I knew I would appreciate the device unfolded in landscape but I never realized how often I'd use it unfolded in portrait for reading and such. Perhaps it's silly but it really makes it feel like a folding tablet rather than an expanding phone, per se.
If I could I'd give it a 4.5 but there are a few tradeoffs for me. First off, while I do prefer using earbuds when I have them, it's unfortunate that the speakers are top and bottom on the left side when unfolded in landscape. Also, I wish the inner camera was in the corner. The crease is very, very minimal, not at all noticeable in normal use. That said, what is noticeable at least with my unit is it doesn't seem to unfold perfectly 180 flat. Not a deal breaker by any means but slightly jarring.
I chose a new fold version and I cant ever go back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time fold device. They never had my attention mainly because I thkught phones were getting unnecessarily bigger. And the previous folds were 2 phones and heavy. The previous fold 7 cause my attention cause finally it was atleasg the size of 1 big phone. But still didn't Covert me. So for first time I tried the ultra. And then this year when samsung decided to do the fold in a more stout version it hit the mark. I chose fold 8 cause it has a smaller form factor and for most purposes u can operate it closed. And it fits so nicely in pockets and one hand ideation si so easy with the ultra the weight was so imbalances it always felt it was going to fall off. I am so glad I chose to z fold 8 wide. I love it opens to a slightly bigger size to see my emails and read documents. Watching Netflix is really filun due to the size. Some apps specially Instagram looks funky but I feel it's only matter of time it's optimized for this form I am glad I chose and I wonder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Galaxy Z Fold8 after being a long time Fold and Flip user, and this is the best combination of both worlds so far. Closed, it fits in your palm like a passport, easy to carry all day. Opened, it turns into a full tablet, great for work and travel. It is lighter and slimmer than previous models, which makes a big difference when you are using it for hours. The camera is excellent and handles everything from quick shots to detailed work photos with ease. Overall this is a huge step up and the best Fold experience yet.
