FINALLY! The right form factor in a powerhouse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone as a replacement to my fold 7 due to the MUCH BETTER form factor which allows you to not have to open the phone so much when using. Because of the wider out screen and the shorter length this phone is perfect as a daily driver. Samsung has been quite stubborn in the long and slimcandy bar style shape foldable which was rendering the outer screen useless as it was too difficult to type on due to the slim form factor.
But NOW, the Fold 8 has followed the Pixel fold form factor and voila! It's a powerhouse as the software has always been superb, but now the wider shape allows me to use this without frustration. Kudos to Samsung for finally listening. This phone will dominate the market.

This is a great form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The passport sized aspect ratio when closed is really charming. Images display beautifully on it - I feel like I'm pulling a photo out of my wallet and showing friends, and it's far less awkward than a big long slab phone. Unfolded it's great too - very compelling for having 2 apps open side by side. I chose a winner in the Fold 8 so far!

Finally, the Device I've Been Waiting For

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 because this is exactly the kind of foldable phone I’ve been waiting for. I really like the new wider design—it feels compact and comfortable when folded, but once you open it, you get a beautiful large screen that feels like having a mini tablet in your pocket.
The phone is surprisingly light and thin for a foldable, and the overall design feels much more practical for everyday use. The large inner display is great for watching videos, browsing, reading, and multitasking.
For me, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 finally feels like the right balance between a smartphone and a tablet. I’m really happy I chose it!

Amazing foldable phone, it makes iphones ancient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy z fold eight because it is the exact right size for viewing media content when folded open and it is perfect size for using the outer screen as it eliminates unnecessary space that you don't need to be carrying around for no reason.

It was remarkably easy to set up and transfer from my old device. I think the new passport size and shape is awesome. I plan to use it to search the web to gain new knowledge of how things work, also to manage my email and for work and entertainment. I think this new development is just too cool. Loving the lavender finish. The giant screen makes watching crochet tutorials on Youtube much easier to see. I think I'm going to accomplish great things with my new handset, it has such a great camera to help me capture and share pictures thank you!!

My fold 8 experience

"love" the Samsung Fold 8. I have the Fold 7, and I upgraded to this phone because of its new design, which is wider and shorter. It's very convenient for carrying in my pocket. The outer screen is a good size with great resolution and good connection. I love the body of the phone. I went with the pistachio and love it. I would love it more if they had offered the Fold 8 in violet shadow. Unfolded, it's perfect for social media and video streaming—no more huge black bars when watching a movie, very thin when unfolded and not heavy. Love the super-fast charge. Overall, loving the phone. Definitely recommended.

Great phone with great features.

This is a great phone for me to use for running my business (restaurant) I can access multiple apps or files simultaneously if I can't get to my office PC. I also love the samsung Dex feature on all galaxy phones because I have PC access on any monitor that I can plug into. This is great for work. The new wide fold is great for watching any type of video, i use it more than my samsung tablet because of convenience. Im glad I chelose this phone!

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 as I didn't want the privacy screen feature on the 26 ultra. I'm upgrading from the 24 ultra and I've never had a flip or fold and wasn't sure what to expect but so far so good. I'm using the outer screen a lot more than I thought I would as the wider screen is actually super useful for what I mostly use my phone for which is reading books, browsing the web, and playing mindless games with friends. I occasionally use the larger inner screen but honestly not asuch as I thought I might. That might change in the future as I've only had the phone a few days but the outer screen is like 90% perfect for what I need. If they made the galaxy s ultra 27 a bar phone, a little shorter than it currently is, and the width of the fold 8,that's probably make me upgrade right away just because of the other ultra features that the fold 8 doesn't have.
