Long lasting battery and a great design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery life on this device easily lasts through a full day of heavy use. I chose this model specifically for its display quality, and the screen is incredibly sharp and bright even outdoors. The software feels fast and responsive when multitasking.
After looking at several different options, I chose this device because of its sleek, compact design and premium build quality. It feels very comfortable to hold, and the integration with my other devices was completely seamless.
The redesigned form factor is a massive improvement for daily usability. I chose this model because the shorter and wider cover screen makes typing much more natural than previous generations. When unfolded, the 7.6-inch main display provides an incredible layout for reading e-books and multitasking with split screens without feeling awkward in the hand.

Perfect form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Z Folds 2-7 and I chose the Z Fold 8 because of its wide form factor. Outer display is perfect for 2 handed typing, performing most tasks, and even social media. Inner display is perfect for watching videos and rotating it to portrait is so good for scrolling vertical videos 🤌. Love that you can have a small phone and a big phone at the same time! Only wish there was a telephoto camera. Maybe next year...

Onething suggest is silicon case has only rear case, I need to protect front display too so bought aftermarket case again.

I love the fold 8!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was originally going to get the Fold Ultra 8, but I chose the Fold 8 because I really wanted to try out the form factor, and I am 100% happy with my choice. The form factor is just perfect and has me using the phone open way more than I ever did with the Fold 7. The anti-glare inner display with the new form factor makes consuming content so much better, especially with how light the phone is. The battery is also great; I got 8 hours of screen-on time, and that was during heavy use. I do wish the outer display also had the anti-glare coating, but it's still great to use, and I can finally see my full wallpaper because of the form factor. I'm already recommending this phone to people.

Better than I expected!

I thought I was taking a bit of a risk by not going with the top-tier Z Fold8 Ultra, but once I opened the phone, put it to work, and realized its capabilities—especially coupled with a nice case featuring three different standing angles—this easily became the best phone I’ve ever had!
Also, for those comparing camera specs to previous models, you can definitely tell that the upgraded image processing makes a huge difference. Even with the same camera resolution, it creates noticeably better images. That wasn't the main reason I bought the phone, though; I got it for the 4:3 inner display and the wider cover screen, which is great when using apps. On my old Fold6, I would never use that skinny outer screen, which seems to still be similar on the Fold8 Ultra. I really think this new layout should be the standard format for their foldables moving forward.
Another cool thing is the battery life. It lasts so much longer—not only because of the new battery technology itself, but also thanks to how efficient the processor and radios are. Plus, it charges so quickly that overall power management is a fantastic experience.
