I had to be envious at those who had an access to competitors product. No more! The moment came and I chose to pre order without thinking twice and oh boy I am happy I did that. Finally a folding phone with a mature technology and a best form factor! Dream come true.

Everything i asked for since fold 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in construction. First device was a fold 3 and then every generation after that. Even though these devices are not meant to be used in the condition i work in, i still choose them because of the big screen and small form factor. This new gen 8 size is definitely a game changer. The screen ratio are a match made in heaven with the apps i used for plans/drawings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new galaxy z fold eight is innovative and functional. I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 due to the size and trade in value mainly but I am overwhelmingly surprised at how functional it is and it sets a new standard for foldable phones in my opinion.

Fantastic new Form Factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of use, my Samsung Z-Fold 3 was in need of replacement. I chose the new Z Fold 8 as my next daily communications device due to its form factor. I like the idea of doing most of my work on the outside screen, while leaving the inside screen to the duties of videos playback. I also opted for 1024 GB of storage due to the number of photos and videos my family likes to take. There is never a such thing as too much capacity, especially when you consider what this new phone's camera resolution is capable of! I am also really enjoying the speed increase im performance and the ability to multi-task much easier. Another thing I noticed, or better said, didn't notice, was the crease in the screen, where it folds. Plus, I can't get enough of that clean crisp snap in the hinge when it is opened, simply wonderfully engineered! Now that I have my new phone, I gotta start shopping for my wife's replacement as well. Her current phone is the Flip 3, and she is simply running out of storage now. The reason I chose Samsung is due to the longevity of thwie products, despite the harsh use they are exposed to over the years. The software updates continue long past their competitors, giving their customers s excelent value for their money. Kudos Samsung, keep up the great work with zero compromises!

Great form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this over the ultra because of the form factor. The size and aspect ratio are near perfect for everyday use. Huge improvement on the crease as well. It snaps right open which is great most of the time, but it cant hold most angles like the older folds did. Overall I am happy coming from the z fold7.

Upgrade from z fold 7 yes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The z fold 8 is a great upgrade from the z fold 7. It's got a lighter fram, bigger battery and the same DNA in a smaller more manageable package. The only negative thing I can report is all of the colors look so feminine and they need to bring out more masculine colors.
