[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had every iteration of the Z Fold since it debuted. Coming from a 7, I was curious about the new form factor of the 8, so I gave it a shot... and it has not disappointed! I chose the non ultra knowing id lose a little real estate, and im honestly glad I did- it's more comfortable in my pocket, and to use, and just generally is a fun piece of tech to show off while at work or out and about in the world. Great job Samsung!

Lightweight and fits great for people w small hand

I've upgraded from the flip 5 and miss the flip but the fold 8 is actually more light than my flip 5 .this was worth the upgrade

Excellent Form Factor

The reason I chose the Fold 8 is for it's small size while folded and it's usability of the internal screen when unfolded. It feels light but solid. I'm looking forward to spending lots of time with this device.

Loving the Z Fold 8 and its form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had foldables for a long time going back to the original Z Flip, and by now I've used flips and folds and like them both for different reasons. Flips are fun, they shrink, and you can do interesting things with the camera. Folds are great for immersing yourself in content, multitasking on the go in genuinely productive ways. I chose the Z Fold 8 because of its new, compact but wide form factor because it's like the best of both worlds -- the small form factor that's fun and light, but with a wider aspect ratio that makes the cover screen so much more useful, and converts into a tablet form that's great for both media and getting things done. And it's fun to have something different nowadays.

One Device, Every Part of My Day! Samsung always!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 because I needed one device that could keep up with how scattered my day actually is, and it's been a genuine upgrade to my routine.
For work, the big inner screen is a game changer — I can have my email and calendar open side by side, or review documents without constantly pinching and zooming. Multitasking finally feels like using a small laptop instead of a phone.
School just got easier too. I take notes directly on the unfolded screen with S Pen support, and switching between a PDF textbook and my notes app in split view saves me so much time compared to flipping through tabs.
Streaming and movies look incredible on that expansive display — it's like carrying a mini tablet for Netflix nights or catching a show on my commute. Gaming benefits from the extra screen real estate too; everything feels more immersive with sharper detail and smoother multitasking for guides or Discord on the side.
Even sports highlights hit different — watching replays unfolded feels closer to a proper viewing experience than squinting at a regular phone screen.
The battery keeps pace with all of this, and the hinge feels sturdy after months of daily folding and unfolding. Honestly, I chose the Z Fold 8 for versatility, and it delivers on nearly every part of my day — work, school, entertainment, and everything in between.
