[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, and I can honestly say Samsung has raised the bar again. The design is incredibly sleek, lighter than previous generations, and the hinge feels smoother and more premium than ever. The cover display is finally wide enough to feel like a regular smartphone, while opening it up transforms it into an amazing tablet experience that's perfect for multitasking, streaming, gaming, and getting work done. Performance is lightning-fast thanks to the latest Snapdragon processor, and everything from app switching to gaming is effortless. The displays are bright, vibrant, and immersive, with a barely noticeable crease that makes the foldable experience feel more refined than ever. Battery life has been solid, and Samsung's AI features genuinely make everyday tasks more convenient. The Galaxy Z Fold8 isn't just another smartphone—it's a glimpse into the future of mobile technology. If you've been waiting for the right foldable to make the jump, this is it. Samsung absolutely nailed it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Galaxy Z Fold 8 checks all the boxes we were asking Samsung for a while. Best usable phone ever. Cameras are okay, but functionality is fabulous, and screens are amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the wide body Z Fold 8 strictly for the form factor. I wanted a phone that I could pocket easily, still gave me enough real estate on the front screen, and then when I was ready to indulge, I could open up and have a full screen experience. This is making all those dreams come true.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great all around phone that has many great features, and customizations, I would of given it 5 stars, but once again, the outer screen size just doesn't cut it for me. I would love to see a 7 inch outer screen and a ten inch unfolded. Im hoping to see that in the future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, and honestly, it’s just really easy to use.
First off, it’s shaped better. Older folding phones felt weirdly tall, like a TV remote. This one is shaped like a small book. When you open it, reading stuff or watching videos just looks normal, not stretched out.
It’s also way lighter than it looks. It doesn't feel like a heavy brick in your hand, so your wrist won't hurt if you use it for a while.
Opening it up is super smooth. The line down the middle where it folds is pretty hard to see now, so it won't bug you while you're looking at things.
The pictures come out super clear, and you don't have to fiddle with settings to get a good shot. Best of all, the battery easily lasts all day. It just works, and you don't have to think about it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For my upgrade this year, I chose the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 and I'm already obsessed with it!
The new passport form factor is ELITE for watching movies, YouTube, any kind of video content. Unfolded, the new 4:3 aspect ratio is perfect for me since my main focus is always on consuming media with it unfolded. Its perfect for it since the new aspect ratio allows for less black bars and more of what you're watching.
Even with it folded, the front screen is a passport size screen which I actually enjoy way more than my Fold 7. Its less narrow but shorter, but I have big hands and I find it way more comfortable to hold. I also love that it fits in my pockets better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Listen, I’ve held every foldable since the original plastic-screen disaster, but choosing the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is the first one that feels like the future actually arrived. Samsung finally killed the awkward "TV remote" front screen. The new wider dimensions make the cover display feel like a normal, comfortable phone, but unfolding it is pure magic—it opens up into this perfectly squarish canvas that just makes sense. And that new anti-glare coating? It’s a total game-changer. You can actually use this thing direct in the afternoon sun without staring at your own reflection or that annoying crease. Here’s why this thing is an absolute absolute monster: The GPU in this chip is terrifyingly fast. I threw heavy AAA mobile titles at it with ray-tracing cranked to the max, and the frame rate didn't even flinch. Paired with that massive glare-free inner screen, it genuinely feels like carrying a high-end handheld console in your pocket. Swapping to a silicon-carbon battery was the smartest move Samsung ever made. They managed to pack way more juice into a body that feels impossibly thin, easily getting me through a day of heavy media use. Plus, the bumped-up wired and wireless charging speeds mean you aren't tethered to a wall forever when you do need a top-up. Usually, foldables compromise heavily on optics, but not here. The upgraded camera system shoots insanely sharp photos with good dark-mode performance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose it because wide display. Productivity is great and 4:3 aspect ratio is the best for content consuming.
