[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold 8 as I really like the structure and design. I have had the 5 and 6 but the 8 is the best phone I have had..Samsung really hit this one..you cannot even see the fold line and it has a really nice screen size when open. I have owned around 15 samsung phones and this one definitely is the very best..thank you Samsung great phone!!!!
My Z Fold 8 frequently shuts off when both GPS and YouTube are active simultaneously. Within approximately 15 mins, the phone automatically restarts. This issue has consistently occurred when these two applications are running concurrently.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] been using fold since zf4 and then to 7 and now 8. i has been desparate for a wide screen so this is an exciting phone to start. quite nicely done with some hardware flaws, example include the camera should be placed horizontally instead of vertically, everytime i tried to shoot a photo.my fingers always in the way and still not get used to that. the placement of stero also problematic if using the phone in portrait mode. battery is slightly improved but far from good. hope these can be fixed with the future generation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Samsung Loyalist since S7Edge and Loved it so much I didnt upgrade till S9+ then Note10+, and finally to the Fold 6 and 1 year later Fold 7. I CHOSE THE SAMSUNG FOLD 8 bc I need more usage out of the front of the phone and the wider dimension satisfied exactly so I can use the front quickly on the go without feeling cramped while also widening the tablet form when opening making it even more useful with a wider screen since I no longer use a computer for access to all my online needs and official usage. The phone fits perfectly in my pocket, hand when closed. The change in the camera has had no impact at all, pictures are top notch still. Cannot say enough of how impressed I am with the new Fold 8 with its new dimensions and weight, it's thinness. I WOULD BUT IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT A++++++++++
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this device for the passport style form factor and have not been able to put it down. It's a whole different experience now and has me not looking at other phones the same now. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to get in the foldable world
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When searching for a new foldable I was torn between a few devices, ultimately I chose the Fold 8 because the experience was more than I could have imagined. I came from using the Fold 7 which was already a great device but the Fold 8 just feels more natural when watching videos in landscape mode or reading a book in portrait mode. The battery is great, the ergonomics are unexpectedly good and the software is intuitive. What else could you ask for in a device we call a phone?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 2 different Zfolds in the past and loved them but wanted something where I didn't have to open it everytime to send a text or send an email. This is exactly it! Almost a full-size screen on the outside and a huge screen when you open it. The absolute best of both worlds. So glad I didn't have to go back to a boring, 'normal' phone. If you're even thinking about it, just do it. You won't be disappointed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can say that I choosed the fold 8 wide sn't just because it's another smartphone. It's a device that can genuinely replace a phone and a tablet. First thing you'll notice is the build quality. Samsung has refined the fold series over the years, and the Fold 8 feels more premium than ever. The hinge is smooth, the phone feels solid, and it's thinner and more comfortable to hold than previous generations. The outer display is great for quick tasks like texting, checking notifications, or browsing the web. But opening it is where it really shines. The large inner display is fantastic for than just one thing like a video. And productivity. Samsung’s software remains one of the biggest strengths. Running multiple apps side by side is seamless, and features like drag and drop between apps make the fold feel more like a small computer than a traditional smartphone. I can go on but I only have 1500 characters LOL
