It fits in your hand and your pocket very well.
I can use it without open it and allow me to use the current open app with fold open as well as fold closed.

Z Fold 8 is just as good as expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it's working very good and I like the new form factor but I have only used it one day so far. I chose this model because I wanted something with a better aspect ratio for watching YouTube and this has less black bars than my old z fold 7.

It's both a great phone and a great tablet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my eight Galaxy foldable and it wont be the last. I am happy that I chose the Z fold 8 (wide). New form but same great engineering. This new and first fold wide feels great in my hands when I made or received calls or texts, and to open it wide to enjoy YouTube videos or Netflix movies at times is so rewarding. It's unlike any other device, Android or IOS, phone or tablet, that I have come across and used. Samsung has done it again and again. Keep it up and thank you very much for your vision and customer oriented philosophy.

In love with form factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the zfold 5 this phone feels like an upgrade all around. The updated aspect ratios have allowed me to enjoy content on the front screen as videos and pictures utilize the full screen with no black bars. The inner screen is also improved with content utilizing the screen better than in the past.

A Fantastic Foldable Experience

The foldable design is incredibly useful for multitasking, reading, and watching videos, and it feels much more refined than I expected. The inner display is bright, smooth, and spacious, while the outer screen is perfect for quick tasks. Performance has been fast and responsive, and the battery easily gets me through a full day of normal use. The build quality feels premium, and the software takes great advantage of the large screen.

Best Fold yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose Samsung over all other brands I have been buying the fold since it first came out..upgrading every year hoping to find "the one". Prior to this smaller 8..the 6 was my favorite.. but I think I have finally found a keeper! I am not interested in the tri fold..and just wanted something with a bit more real estate than a standard phone. This fold is the one! Perfect size..feels good in hand now if the battery will just last a bit longer I will be in heaven! Thank you Samsung!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It began with Samsung Z Fold 1 almost eight years ago, ever since then, I've upgraded every year so I can speak for myself when I say, by far, Samsung has put together its best Fold ever. I chose Samsung Z Fold 8 not only for its design, weight, and aesthetic but for its endless number of features that are too long to list for my daily use. Its battery has gotten a lot better as well. I will be choosing another Samsung Z Fold 9 come next year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the winning design of foldable phones for my work phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is perfect. A foldable phone that is truly usable folded or Not!
I'm in the IT industry and use it for writing bpml, and searching for solutions. When i find documentation that I need to read I unfold and rotate and read like its a good book by the fire.
Then when I'm off work it's great for social media and keeping up with world events. From multitasking to email to listening to music.
Was concerned about the small passport size and fitting in my jean pocket. But it's not a problem. Fits like a charm, no issues.
Well done Samsung!
