Love my new phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z fold 8 to replace my S24 ultra. It honestly takes a little bit of getting used to, because the front screen is much smaller than a traditional brick phone. But after a few days of using it, it's super nice! I love how it feels in my hands and the satisfying snap when it folds open. The crease when you fold it open is barely noticeable. I'm just super impressed with how Samsung designed this product!

Great lifestyle choice

When the device is closed, the refined dimensions make a fantastic first impression. Unlike older foldables that felt overly narrow or awkward, the Fold 8’s cover display boasts balanced proportions that feel completely natural. One-handed texting, scrolling, and quick tasks are effortless because the shape fits comfortably in hand without feeling bulky in a pocket. When I'm on the go, I choose to keep it closed most of the time because the outer display functions like a true premium flagship phone.
However, the moment you need to watch a video, opening the phone changes everything.
Unfolding the display reveals a breathtaking screen that instantly elevates media viewing into an immersive experience. Clips, movies, and streams get a massive, vibrant canvas to breathe, delivering dynamic colors and sharp details that a standard phone screen simply can't match.

A lot of WOW factor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only possessed my device for 48 hrs so this is still the honeymoon phase for me. I am honestly shocked at the build quality of the Z Fold 8. It is amazing. I feel that way every time I pick it up, unfold it, fold it...etc. Bizarre to be so enamored with a phone, but it is what it is.
Muscle memory made the switch from the Fold 7 a lot harder than I had anticipated. Harder, but worth the transition. I love the form factor. The form factor, coupled with the build quality, make this device a no brainer. The software and specs are the usual top notch Samsung throws out with new releases. Thank you, Samsung.
To wrap up my quick review, Standing Ovation, Samsung. Love my new Z Fold 8

Z Fold 8 is fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z fold 8 because of its small square shape and it's foldable screen. So far after a few days use it's been an absolute pleasure. It has a great camera no issues, the typing is so much easier. Although the battery is not as great as my old phone it still lasts me the whole day!

First fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold 8 completely off the new form factor. Candy bar style phones have been getting so tall, I find them less comfortable in hand, but the shorter size of the Fold 8 is very comfortable in hand. The extra width makes using the keyboard more comfortable as well. I enjoy having the option to open it up and get a much large media and gaming experience. I look forward to more app companies getting on board with adjusting their apps to this new form factor.
It has all the power it needs to do everything I throw at it. I need more time with it to speak to thw battery life, everyone wants to see it during my day so I have a lot of screen time so far. It still made it through that first day.
I haven't tried the cameras yet as I'm not a big picture taker, which is why the lower specs on them wasn't an issue to me.
I looking forward to more companies coming up with interesting case designs and using my 3D printer to make custom stands and docks for using this new shape.

A Brand New Way to Fold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because of the new form factor. I had the Flip's, from the Flip2 to the Flip5, because I missed having a compact phone, but the Fold (now "Fold Ultra") was always glaring at me in the distance, judging like a Shiba Inu, as if saying "You'll never get this! You'll never get this! La-la-la" but it was just too large and heavy. Fast forward to the Fold8, the perfect "happy medium," that "just right" bowl of porridge that I couldn't pass up, and... Wow! I'm glad that I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold8 now. Today, Samsung, I break the cage, "I get this!" and I high-five you. The bigger battery is very nice!
