This is my third Galaxy Fold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to this Fold 8 Ultra after having a Fold 3 and 6. I've become dependent on the fold form factor. Samsung excels at supporting the viewing and multitasking that these offer.
What the 8 brings to the party what is all day battery life, it's very fast charging and best of class brightness. Outdoor viewing can very bright conditions bring new capabilities to my routines.
I have not yet mastered the additional features supported by AI. I'm anticipating great things.
Keep it up Samsung with developing this exciting phone technology.

The Best Galaxy Z Yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this Galaxy Z because of its innovative design, and my experience has been excellent. It is ultra-thin, and the crease between the two sides of the screen is barely visible. Samsung has greatly surpassed the previous models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a lifelong samsung user, my previous phone was an ultra 22 and it took me 4 years to move to another phone, part due to quality and part due to wanting a change. I chose the fold 8 ultra because I wanted the capability to have multiple screens and a sizeable screen to view media in my pocket. After a week and a half of use I am happy with my decision, everything is so fast, I use the large screen more often than I expected and I love the form factor when it is closed... Samsung has done it again in my personal opinion and has kept this user happy!

My experience with samsung folding phones has always been fun and amazing. Just keep in mind, you know, a foldable phone is perfect. They're all gonna have things that could get improved and things that are really bad As far as the z-fold eight, I'm very happy the way the device turned out not only is it in and light but it lost 0.1 mm of thickness and it seems very durable. Even from the hinge and the best part is you finally get what most people have been asking for including myself and Inter display with an anti-reflective coating that obviously is not going to deflect 99% of the lighting but it does make a major difference when you're out in the world using the inner display and one of the best parts is the crease something that disappears not completely but with that titanium layer that slowly rebounds it's like the crease doesn't exist And it is barely visible but my opinion the biggest done with this device would be in the battery Department because it finally got the same capacity as a s26 Ultra it is sitting at 5,000 milliamps and it's silicon carbon. Thank you Samsung for that and we're also getting an upgraded 50 megapixel ultra white sensor alongside the same outdated telephoto lens that my God Samsung you should already upgrade it and give us five times optical zoom Now when it comes to Everyday Use from casual consumption of entertainment such as YouTube and streaming apps the device is very responsive. Even when you put it through its paces and go crazy and start multitasking having more than one app open at a time or having apps open side by side including one whole lap on the left and right and two apps split in half on the right or left the phone. Is very responsive One UI 9.0 is very fluent and doesn't slow the phone down at all with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for Galaxy phones what I recommend this phone, of course, but it all comes down to what you mean. If you don't really shoot with the telephoto lens. The smaller one should be fine for your daily tasks. Do I wish S Pen support was here, of course, but it's not a deal break for me as I prefer what they have done here and made a very durable thin device with a silicon carbon battery and the UI that is very responsive to everything you throw at it

I've never had a lot of love for a product like a mobile device as I do for Samsung phones my journey started with the Z Fold 3 and boy what a leap of improvements they have done on the Z Fold 8 Ultra over the fold 7 from the easy to open phone due to that redesigned hinge to that anti reflective coating on the display that know reaches 3000 nits on the inside this phone does it all with great battery live at the end of the day cause yes!!! Sir!!! Silicone Carbon is here baby at 5000mah you can use the phone and be left with some in the tank no matter how hard you put it threw it's pases from taking pictures to multi-tasking or having multiple apps opened at once ONE UI 9.0 is extremely responsive with no hiccups at all and the phone being thin and I mean thin loosing 0.1 mm from the fold 7 doesn't seem cheap it's very durable as it has titanium on the inner display that makes the crease vanish not 100% but you really don't notice it at all if you want to get the best of both worlds go for it get the Z Fold 8 Ultra it won't disappoint you at all if you want the best shooter at 200mpgs and need a telephoto lens that is there to be ok not the best as Samsung should upgrade it already or you can get the wide version with both a 50mpg main and ultra wide sensor of wich thank God Samsung got rid of the old one and upgraded it with a 50mpg sensor my experience with Samsung phones have been amazing all the times and remember this once you go fold you won't go back to a regular slab doesn't matter how much you use the cover display you know there is a back up plan B the second large display to give you a larger viewing area just wish S Pen was around not a big deal breaker for me as I prefer thin light and less bulk in my pocket

Originally I was a bit sad when I got it, the color was muted... But let me tell you.... I walked out into the sunlight and this thing became so gorgeous and vibrant. I fell in love.
Sidenote: the screen is so crisp and bright, coming from fold6 I thought I might go blind. <--- this is a good thing.
Incredibly responsive device, I use Artemis/Apollo for streaming my gaming PC and the new snapdragon is a BEAST. Honestly I don't know how I could be happier... Maaaaybe S-Pen support!? But I'm genuinely satisfied with this device. Don't let this diamond get out-shone by the new form factor of the fold8. Beautiful device. 10/10 Samsung!
