Great product. Charging still slow.

Fold 8 better than ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra because I had previously purchased the Z Fold 3 several years ago & loved it.
This newest version is even better. It's bigger, brighter, more powerful, better camera & everyone that sees it unfold always remarks how cool & convenient it would be to have a mini tablet in addition to a phone.
I'm in my 50's & my near vision isn't very good. I require reader glasses most of the time. But when I don't have them, I can simply unfold my phone & see everything so much easier.
It's also great when im not near a TV, or on a trip without access to a TV, and im able to unfold my phone and watch a movie or sports event. And it's big enough so other nearby can watch also. The dual speakers provide enough sound and volume to hear everything clearly. I also like watching the videos on Reels & TikTok more clearly.
I've been a Samsung phone owner for over 16 yrs! I bought the very first Samsung S series phone back in 2010 & have bought approx 6 Samsung S or Z phones ONLY over the years. I have never purchased any other brand & hopefully never will.
Keep up the quality phones & foldables Samsung and I will keep upgrading to the newest model when the time comes to replace my phone.

Much improved battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from the Fold 7 to get super-fast charging, and an enhanced battery, and I am not disappointed. While there is little difference in the size or performance of the phone, the battery life and improved charging was worth the pain of an upgrade. Not that moving phones is the chore it used to be, thanks to Samsung and Android making the process mostly hands-off today.

Great phone faster and better than fold 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great phone with longer battery life and way better hinge. I can actually feel the hinge close on this. Visuals and graphics are alot better. I view movies and anime on my phone. Never really needed 1 TB as I utilize Google and Verizon backup. So the 256 GB works well for me.

Phenomenal device slight necessary tweaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra pushes folding phone tech significantly forward—bringing a massive 5,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, 45W wired charging, a sharper inner screen with an anti-reflective coating, and a upgraded 50MP ultra-wide camera.
However, calling a device "Ultra" sets a very high bar, and there are still a few key areas where Samsung could take this flagship closer to perfection:
1. Upgrade the Telephoto Camera
* The Issue: While the 200MP main sensor and new 50MP ultra-wide are top-tier, the Z Fold 8 Ultra still relies on an aging 10MP 3x telephoto sensor.
* The Fix: Bring over the 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens from the S-series Ultras. For a phone that costs this much, users shouldn't have to sacrifice periscope zoom range and low-light telephoto clarity.
2. Integrated S Pen Slot
* The Issue: The Ultra supports S Pen input on the inner screen, but there’s still no built-in silo to store it. Carrying a special case or loose stylus is clunky.
* The Fix: Re-engineer the inner chassis to include an embedded S Pen garage, just like the Note legacy / S Ultra series. Even if it required making the device a fraction of a millimeter thicker, many power users would gladly make that trade-off.
3. Truly Invisible Under-Display Camera (or Ditch It)
* The Issue: While Samsung reduced the inner camera cutout size down to 2.5mm, it’s still noticeable on full-screen media and gaming.
* The Fix: Either perfect the Under-Display Camera (UDC) technology so the screen pixel
