First fold!

I chose the fold 8 ultra and couldn't be happier. It really feels like I'm living in the future with such a big screen. If you are on the fence, make the jump and you won't regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold 8 ultra as my upgrade from the s25 ultra and I'm beyond ecstatic! This phone is superseded all of my expectations and I may be sticking with the z folds going forward. I have upgraded phones every year for the past 20 years until I got the s25 ultra, which I kept for a year and a half. I researched the fold 8 ultra for months and after watching the unveiling I was sold. After being hands-on, I feel that this may be the best phone to ever be released!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been 26 years using only Samsung phones since I was a high shcool student. Since I trust this company, I chose Samsung again with Z fold 8 ultra. I was with the company when they started to make their first smartphone, Galaxy S. Absolutely I used many feature phones before smart phone era but I started to use smart phone with Samsung. Don't ask how many Samsung phones I used because same as I am now with Z fold 8, I almost always per-ordered the best phones they made. This is my 6th foldable phone ever since I switched from Note 8 to Fold 3. Honestly, this 8 ultra was the one I didn't expect upgrading since the out fit is exactly same as my previous one, Fold 7. Yes, 0.1mm thinner but not noticeable. However, there are no phones can do everything like Fold series. What do you do with this phone? These are what I do with Folds. Game, document working, reading books, Study music with music sheets, Waching shows, Photo and Video monitoring, Car Navigation, Presentation and so on with phone itself AND plus Galaxy AI?!?!?! No doubt that Galaxy AI is the best of all among all the phones in the world. Anyway, this phone can do everything. YES, EVERYTHING. If you want the best of best phone in the world, Galaxy z fold 8 ultra is the answer until the next z fold will come!!

This does it all at the tip of my fingers. Far beat my expectations of size and fit. As my first foldable, I had assumed it was going to be bulky, this definitely is not that. Perfect size all around.

Great upgrade from fold 6 to fold 8 ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading from the Samsung Fold 6 to the Samsung Fold 8 Ultra feels less like buying a new phone and more like evolving into the next stage of smartphone life.
The Fold 6 was already impressive it folded, multitasked, and made people ask, "Wait... what phone is that?" But the Fold 8 Ultra? It somehow takes everything the Fold 6 did and says, "Hold my S Pen."
The screens are brighter, everything feels faster, the cameras finally stopped pretending to be "good enough," and the battery actually keeps up with my habit of having 47 apps open at once. The crease? More of a polite suggestion now.
Opening it still makes me feel like I'm in a sci-fi movie, except now it's smoother, slimmer, and just feels... refined. It's the difference between driving a luxury car and driving the facelift model that quietly fixed every tiny thing you didn't know bothered you.
Was the Fold 6 bad? Absolutely not. It was fantastic. But the Fold 8 Ultra makes going back feel like closing a laptop and picking up a flip phone.
My wallet is still recovering, but my inner tech nerd couldn't be happier.
