Exceptional phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this phone because of the ease of accessing my files for work and being able to work on my phone for over 12 hours and till hold a charge. The z fold serious gets better each year. Samsung takes the time to listen and acknowledge reviews on how to make things better. I have been a Samsung customer for over 20 years and truly do not see myself going to another major brand at all.

Superior Device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Given the choice, I choose the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Replacing a Z Fold7 with the new Z Fold8 Ultra - a fine incremental update. The form factor is what I need and use so there was no brain power lost trying to decide on what form factor. Superior device - very well designs and built - premium feel - and no doubt a very powerful device. When considering, I choose the 1TB unlocked unit in violet. No learning curve for me coming from the Z Fold7. Well executed Samsung.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, a great iteration

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used foldables before. I used the 3rd Z fold and the Pixel Fold. I ended up moving off of them because I was too worried about screen replacements and more. Wth these new foldables, I can definitely see a shift towards quality and what they can handle.
These new phones are IP48 which means they are protected against 30 mins of submersion in water and objects larger than 1mm. Dust and similar things are less than 1mm so there is always something that can get under the screen. I am not worried about that this time. I feel with how the phone is built and designed, I spend less time worrying about the edges and just use the phone.
The crease that was on my previous phones was easier to see and truth be told, every single time I used a folding phone, you forget it is there. So the crease was never part of any issue I had.
As far as battery life, this phone has battery protection that can extend the life of your battery. You can set it to start charging after it reaches max charge in increments all the way down to 80%. So once you hit 100%, it will stop charging until the battery reaches 80, then it will begin charging again. It is helpful, since every foldable I had the battery will begin draining faster if you do use the phone open. This feature is something helpful to increase the longevity of owning it, something older foldables didn't really focus on.
I definitely like the progress that these foldables have made.

This has been a nice upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded from my S22 Ultra, which was a great phone, to my new Z Fold 8 Ultra. There is a noticeable difference in performance and utility. I love the ability to run multiple apps at once on the center screen. I really like that it can be a regular candy bar-style phone most of the day, but when I want to view more, it becomes a mini tablet. Very happy with my purchase.

Love the ease of switching phones

I'm just getting used to all the aspects of the new default 8 and strongly suggest it for anyone who runs their business from their phone.

I thought the lack of the Spen would be a big deal, but so far have yet to notice it. Loving the bigger screen great for sharing videos with others due to the larger screen.
The speed and battery life are amazing, and no issue with the crease whatsoever

The most impressive thing about the Z Fold 8 Ultra is how much thinner it is compared to the Z Fold 6. Also super fast performance. Screen resolution is outstanding. The battery life is great. No complaints.
