[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from the Z Fold 6 to the latest Samsung model, and I carefully considered both the Z Fold 8 Wide and the Z Fold 8 Ultra. While I was initially drawn to the Z Fold 8 Wide due to its ideal form factor and aesthetic appeal, I ultimately decided against it because it is a first-generation device and lacks Flex Mode functionality. Despite its compact size, my preference for larger displays, coupled with my need for advanced multitasking capabilities and the enhanced features of Bixby, led me to select what I think will work best for me and what I believe I will enjoy most, so I chose the Z Fold 8 Ultra model. In addition, the absence of a visible crease on the new device is also a significant advantage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the zfold8 ultra as an upgrade to my zfold5. First thing noticed was how much lighter it is even compared to my s26 ultra and it's predecessor. Screen looks tons better than previous model. And the inside screen is great!! Im saving room for disappointment though. Previous version had a delicate inside screen that broke on me though was never used. Im imagining the same issue will arise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my Z fold8 Ultra very much. Coming from a 24 Ultra is a HUGE change. My old phone worked great but this one is a step above. Needing my phone for work is a must. Taking pictures of equipment is just part of my use. But being able to have a larger display to zoom in on makes my job SO much easier. Also being able to browse websites for parts on this display is a treat. Not seeing the crease is very nice.
The battery life is quite nice. Especially when using the larger display often.
It is a very thin phone and fits great in my pocket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra because I wanted a phone that could actually keep up with everything I throw at it—and so far, it has been fantastic.
I use it for school, work, email, streaming, gaming, navigation, and basically everything in between. The huge inner screen makes multitasking ridiculously useful. I can have notes open on one side, a website on the other, and still somehow convince myself I’m being productive instead of watching YouTube. 😂
The display is gorgeous, performance is extremely fast, and switching between apps feels effortless. I also love being able to use it like a normal phone when folded and then open it up into a mini tablet when I need more space. At this point, going back to a regular phone would probably feel like trying to do homework through a keyhole.
Battery life has been solid, the cameras are great, and the overall build feels premium. Samsung has really refined the Fold experience.
Definitely one of my favorite phone upgrades in a long time. Powerful, fun, practical, and just a little bit ridiculous—in the best possible way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
