Expanded Display & Tablet Mode: Moving from the Fold 6 to the Fold 8 Ultra gives me significantly more screen real estate. Opening it into tablet mode makes drafting, reading, and replying across emails, text messages, and chat apps vastly more spacious and efficient.
Built-in AI & Project Brainstorming: The integrated Galaxy AI features make quick work of validating spelling and grammar while drafting messages. Plus, using NotebookLM within my workflow helps generate ideas and organize notes for ongoing projects effortlessly.
High-Resolution Camera Performance: The camera setup—featuring a powerful 50MP sensor—is a game-changer for capturing vibrant detail on vacations abroad and visits to national parks. It produced breathtaking photos on our recent trip to the Grand Canyon with my 94-year-old mom, who thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Seamless process

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my Fold 7 for the Fold 8 Ultra. The process of ordering, getting the phone, and completing the transition has been made as easy as could be. I chose to also order the Samsung cover and screen protector and the installation of the protector is the easiest I've experienced compared to other brands and the first time the protector has gone on without any bubbles needing to be massaged out.

Glad I upgraded from Fold 6

I am glad that I chose the ultra version, as it has a better form factor, in my opinion. Its slightly wider, and longer than the fold 6, and I love that its much slimmer. I am glad that I chose to upgrade.

Best Z Fold yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this Z Fold 8 Ultra because I'm a big fan of the design. I've had the 3, 5, and the 6 Folds and this is clearly the best of all the previous models. I'm a retired mechanical engineer so am very focused on build quality and all of my Z models have performed well. This 8 Ultra is the perfect size and weight and packed with features so I'll likely be buying another new model in a couple of years.
