I chose the Flip 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the flip 8 because my daughter's wanted the flip phone. Time i deci6to upgrade the flip 8 had just came out. So we gotten the newest one at that time. However it does have a lot of Kent's to work out. For example the Google assistant 🙄 only text my youngest daughter. It does not make the calls or read the text. You can not have different ring tones or text notifications for different contacts. The sensitivity touch is barely working properly. Someone with neuropathy needs to be able to properly use this feature to its fullest.

Minimal upgrade feels like a downgrade

Just a normal person reporting. This phone isn't better out of the box, in my case you have to go to the provider website for the esim which disjoints you from the set up. There is no discernable upgrade for this phone that i can tell. In fact, the color feels matte and not shiny. Everything feels like a downgrade aestheticly. I am not techie so saying how it is perceived. It's about the same size and depth. No real changes with waterproofing or dustproofing. Same camera as far as I can tell. Not impressed. If you don't need a new one, don't buy it. If you are like me and need a flip phone, I'm considering Motorola. Which is exactly what I think Samsung wants.

The Flip is my favorite phone, been rocking with it since Day 1. It's slim enough to fit in your pocket, a small purse or even your workout gear. Love it 💖💖💖

Convenient, multifunctional, and unique

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to switch to a Flip series phone initially because I needed a device that was compact enough carry with me while working with kids, while still giving me a full size/large screen. With the Flip8 I can do most of my basic tasks from the small back screen, like checking incoming texts, making calls, controlling my bluetooth music, and even sneaking in some youtube.
Honestly, nothing feeds my nostalgia more than being able to snap the folding phone closed after ending a call, or finishing a task. And that hinge also means that I don't need a tripod to take photos or videos, I can just half fold it and set it up. With the back screen on, I can film or take photos while seeing where I am in the frame, while using the rear camera.
I recommend this to anyone who needs a functional, compact phone, but doesn't want to compromise on the screen size, as well as anyone who wants a fun and unique experience.

Great Battery

I upgraded from the Flip 4, so everything is much better. The battery life went from 15 hours to nearly 40+. Light weight, may too light for ne, I have cover to add weight and better feel in my hand,
