Compact and powerful

It’s compact enough to not eat up desk space, and the print/scan/copy combo covers most household needs. Print quality is solid for everyday documents and decent for photos. Only issue is no enclosed paper tray.

Perfect Printer for a College Student

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the HP DeskJet 2942 All-in-One Printer for my daughter for her college dorm. When buying it I wanted something was compact and easy to use and most importantly reliable as there is nothing worse than needing to a print a last minute assignment and get an error message.
Setting it up: We did struggle a bit getting the ink cartridges installed. The way I read the instructions had me putting it in backwards. But honestly that was the hardest part! Once we got the ink installed, I did a bunch of test print outs.
When testing it out the first thing I noticed was how quiet the printer is. The speed was also better than expected. My previous printer would take double the time to print out.
I played around the scanner feature but not extensively. I don't have a lot of uses for the scanner but could see the value when we want to print out hand drawing.
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s simple, compact, quiet, and does exactly what I need it to do. For a student heading off to college, this is a great little all-in-one printer and gives me one less thing to worry about while she’s away at school!

Efficient and Quick

I use it to help with wedding planning and things print clearly. The replacement ink is inexpensive. I know I will have this for a long time. Love the wireless printing option.

Easy To Use, Great Colors, Slow to Print

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP DeskJet 2952 AiO Printer is sleek, compact, and very easy to set up. It took just a few minutes to get it connected to our WiFi network and use the app. It included the necessary ink, but HP does encourage you to sign up for their ink subscription process for future purchases. Once I got the aligning print set up and the welcome page printed, I got to work! I have to say, this printer produces extremely crisp, clear full-color images. It's also perfect for basic documents and anything in just black and white. I will say that it's very slow, but it could be because I am used to using a thermal printer for shipping labels. Other than that, it's a wonderful, quality printer and perfect for casual use or family use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was fairly easy, especially using the HP app. Once I got it connected to Wi-Fi, printing from my phone was really convenient. The print quality is good for everyday things like documents, forms, recipes, and occasional color printing.
The printer itself feels pretty lightweight, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing if you need something small and easy to move around.
This is a good choice for someone who just needs an affordable home printer for occasional use. It’s not a fancy, high-end printer, but for the price it does as it should do.
Would I recommend it? Yes, especially for basic home use.

The app guided me step by step, and connecting to Wi-Fi only took a few minutes. I appreciated how intuitive the process was, even for someone who isn’t very tech-savvy. It does everything I need. Compact enough so it's out of the way, really easy to use. printing quality is great! Love that I can print from my cell phone., since most we do now a days in right on your phone.
Since my old printer wasn't working, I had a bunch of things I really wanted to print off and was happy with how easy that all was and the quality of printing was good. Ink seems to last about what I expected for how many things Ive printed off so far.
No complaints from me!

Perfect printer for school

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We desperately needed a printer for my daughter's schoolwork last year, and I'm thrilled to have this for the upcoming semester. It's fairly compact but still has the same scanning and printing features as our old printer, which was more than double the size! It was super quick to set up, and I love how easy it is to print photos straight from your phone. It even adjusts to fit 4x6 and 5x7 pre-sized photo paper. Really looking forward to using this more during the school year!
