A great "low end of high end" machine!

My 1990s-era Adcom CD player finally needed to be replaced, and I purchased this. Unit sounds clear and warm compared to Adcom (that has been described as bright / crisp without AFPC that rolls off the high end) and isn't as susceptible to vibrations. Unit feels solid and has all the bells and whistles anyone needs. A great "low end of high end" machine!

Sensitive to vibrations

All the good things are voided by the players sensitivity to vibrations. Even a 3/4 inch foam pad does not allow you to walk through a room with wood flooring.
I'm in the process of replacing. Too bad, since the other Onkyo components i had were great.
