Once you get past the windows updates, this thing is a beast of a computer, and in such a small and light package. Runs all my CAD/CAM software, runs huge spreadsheets, etc. Screens are beautiful and bright. A little clunky switching screen modes, but absolutely amazing once they’re set.
Nice build quality and good screens, but beset by glitches and iGPU isn’t as good as expected. The dual screen capability is great when it works properly. It doesn’t always work well. Keyboard drops out, orientation issues, brightness controls have problems. Even with X9 the iGPU struggles on low settings for games. Needs to be cheaper given all these issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dear Einmal,
Thank you for your feedback.
We do understand the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing lots of system glitches on this laptop. To resolve this issues, ensure Windows, drivers, applications, games and BIOS are up to date. Updates for the laptop are posted at: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-home/zenbook/asus-zenbook-duo-ux8407/helpdesk_download?model2Name=UX8407AA. Additionally, while accessing cloud games or web applications, ensure the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will affect system stability and performance. Keeping the laptop always updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "MyASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/.

This is my second dual-screen laptop, and there’s no going back. The DUO is fast enough for 4K video editing, and paired with dual-screen external monitors, productivity soars whether traveling or in the home office. I am amazed by the ability to travel with four monitors in such a small package.
Solid performance and display. Very fast. Ease of use is great. Minor issues with Windows 11 integration and the Windows App, formerly remote desktop. I bought this strictly for work and remote desktop is key to that. If that issue were refined or fixed I'd be a lifer for Asus. I also own the 10th gen Lenovo Yoga 9i Dual screen, 32 gb. If that ever comes out in a 388h model... Asus should look at the sleekness that laptop has for people who don't mind virtual keyboards. Tent and tablet alone would sway me away.
great laptop.. great screen very smooth and quick response to inputs.. pen works great.. all in all a great machine..I had the 2 year old model before.. this is a nice upgrade . 2 screens extremely handy .. keyboard nice and smooth
This tablet/computer/monster booster is amazing for producers like me. I love to have this on the go, or products at the highest level that help me create a studio on the go and give me the opportunity to create, investigate, and publish how I like.
