Unfortunately didn’t last an hour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the Lingo biosensor and I documented the application after finally receiving it. Unfortunately, my experience was cut short after five delivery attempts and multiple calls to ups and lingo I was able to apply the sensor but less than an hour later it stopped working and fell off completely. I followed the instructions, but I wasn’t able to properly test the features I hope to get a replacement to get a more complete review and hopefully make my first impression of the product completely different for the second.

Barely there and useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor is actually quite slim. It was relatively simple and completely painless to apply. The app is easy to navigate. It’s quite fascinating to be able to track your glucose in comparison to what your do or eat. The more you log in the app the better understanding of your glucose levels you will be.

Lingo Biosensor Review: Easy, Painless, & Informative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I originally agreed to review the Lingo biosensor glucose monitor, I didn't realize it involved a two-week commitment or that it used a small needle. As someone who is terrified of needles, I was honestly a little nervous. Thankfully, the biosensor came securely packaged & sterile inside an easy-to-use applicator. Applying it to my arm was incredibly simple, completely painless, & I genuinely didn't feel a thing.
Once it was on, I quickly forgot I was even wearing it. The sensor is lightweight, very secure, & never got in the way of my daily activities. I showered normally without any issues, & it stayed firmly attached the whole time.
One thing users should know is that the app will often display that it isn't connected to the monitor, but this isn't actually a problem. The biosensor stores your glucose data internally & transfers it to the app whenever you open it & it reconnects, which usually only takes a couple of minutes. Once I understood how it worked, I had no issues with it. The app itself is very user-friendly, easy to navigate, & presents your glucose information in a way that's simple to understand.
After wearing the sensor for a few days, I did occasionally notice a slight itch around the adhesive. It wasn't constant or bothersome - just something that happened ran through the two weeks & wasn't significant enough to affect my experience.
When it was time to remove the sensor, it was attached very securely, so it took a few minutes to peel off. The area where it had been attached was a little red afterwards, but it wasn't painful or tender to the touch.
Overall, I found the Lingo biosensor to be a really interesting product & enjoyed seeing how my glucose levels changed throughout the day. It gave me insights that I wouldn't have otherwise had. I assume the readings are accurate. I would definitely recommend it to people who specifically want to track & better understand their glucose levels. It was a positive experience overall, & I think it's a well-designed, high-quality product.

Helpful Healthy Tracking, App Needs Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im not a fan of needles so I was worried about attaching the sensor to the back of my arm. But it really just felt like a quick pinch and then it’s totally painless.
The overall data and function is pretty cool, I had never really thought about tracking my glucose before. A few things that weren’t the greatest…
1) For some reason I never got any notifications from the app, despite triple checking that the alerts were on for the app and my phone. It’s hard to get into the habit of opening the app to check it. Not sure if this is standard experience or if something for me just wasn’t working.
2) another downside was that the sensor kept unpairing from my phone, and without any notification to tell me it unpaired I’d go basically all day without realizing it. I’d have to turn my phone off and on, Bluetooth off and on, and do that a couple more times until it finally paired again.
3) I also wish they had an Apple Watch app so that I could check my glucose without having to open my phone.
4) Lastly, the only other downside was that the adhesive around the sensor got pretty dirty so I was excited to finally finish the 2 weeks and take it off.

Information to improve health!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really feel like having more information about your body helps you improve your habits and make positive changes. This is what I really like about this product! I can easily see how the food I eat directly effects my body. The only cons I would say are that you have to have the app open constantly. I have accidentally closed it several times. It’s just habit. Then I wish there was a video showing the application process. It didn’t hurt but it did scare me because it made a loud popping sound when I applied it. A video of the process and what to expect would be so helpful! Overall it’s small and comfortable to wear. It stays on very well!

Seeing my glucose in real time helpful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really enjoyed using Lingo because it gave me a much better understanding of how my body responds to food and everyday habits and activities. Seeing my glucose levels in real time was honestly eye-opening! I realized that some meals affected me differently than I expected. It absolutely helped me to become more mindful of my choices without feeling restrictive. I also found the sensor comfortable to wear and easy to forget about once it was on! So, it’s been a great tool for learning more about my body instead of guessing what’s going on!

Product fell off early, but enjoyed the data

I feel as those they were accurate and informative. The set up and application was extremely easy and pain free. The only problem was that my sensor was supposed to last 2 weeks and feel off after 1 week.
