It’s easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Lingo glucose monitor and really like it. It’s easy to use, tracks glucose in real time, and helps you understand how food and exercise affect you. It’s not for diagnosing diabetes, but great for improving habits.

Real Insight Into Your Personal Blood Sugar Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blood glucose hadn’t been on my radar before I received the offer from Influenster to try this monitor. Watching my blood glucose levels rise and crash with my food choices and understanding how I felt at each of those times helped me understand my eating patterns. It has created a real motivation for me to change my diet to avoid insulin resistance and is helping me manage my hunger. I want to recommend the 2-week program to everyone I know.
I nearly chickened-out applying the monitor because I was not expecting the needle. The language in the instructions about bruising and non-stop bleeding didn’t help encourage me to try it. But when I finally did apply the monitor, I did not even feel the needle/filament go in.
The phone app is intuitive. It takes half an hour to receive data and then it’s ready to go with very little requirement from the user. I like how you can track meal times and exercise to provide context. The notifications that I should get moving during a glucose spike were also motivational and I actually did most of the time.
Unfortunately, the monitor is a bit bulky and sticks out from the arm a bit. There is a clear, raised edge around the sides of the monitor. It’s visible under most clothing. The adhesive is strong and stayed on with showering, but the monitor was knocked off my arm before the monitoring period was over when I was jostled into a doorframe. It was painful getting ripped out that way and my arm was tender for a couple days. I saw information that you could receive a replacement monitor if yours came off early, but I was unable to find that option under my account (perhaps because mine was a free trial?).
The only improvement I could suggest is a redesign of the monitor that tapers more on the sides so it is less conspicuous and perhaps would catch less easily.
If you’re on the fence, try it.

Really helpful wellness tool!

All of a sudden you see this little needle, and believe it or not I have a fear even of a tiny little needle – I swear to you you do not feel this thing when it is applied. It calibrates well, it’s super accurate with my eating patterns and you actually forget that it’s there.

Useful Tool

I think it’s good for anyone trying to get a better idea of their health. It’s a reasonable cost. It was very easy (and painless) to apply and most of the time I forgot I was wearing it (you do have to be careful say putting a sports bra on so it doesn’t catch). The app was easy to install and pair with the device. The only issue I had is the Bluetooth disconnecting on me a few times at night. The app shares great insight into your blood sugar and how it responds to food and exercise and I even saw out of the norm on a night I felt sick. I would recommend this.

Easy to use monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is easy to set up and easy to use. The app is very easy to use so that you always know what your glucose levels are. As someone who is not diabetic, this information was interesting to see and learn what foods spike my glucose the most. The monitor was not painful and lasted a full two weeks for me.

Outstanding product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to tryout this glucose monitor and could not wait for it to arrive. Applying the device was fairly easy and instructions were well explained in the brochure that came in the box. I experienced minimal discomfort and I eventually got used to having it on but it is very noticeable and not very discrete. The Lingo application is user friendly and easy to navigate. I’m very pleased with the accuracy and accessibility but the cost may be out of my reach for continuous use. Keep in mind that I do not have any glucose health issues but if I did, I would l definitely invest in using the monitor permanently.

Get tool to assist with healthy choices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical to try having never worn such a device. However the lingo glucose biosensor was easy to use. The directions were clear. Setup was a breeze and the app is easy to navigate. Sensor last two weeks. Slight discomfort upon inserting but went away. Lightweight and you got familiar to device being on the back of your arm quickly.
I liked that the app showed when your glucose dipped or spiked making it easier to track physical, emotional, and foods effects on glucose.
