Errors and socks stuck in gasket

Starting the first week the washer keeps giving an error every couple washes but won’t display the secondary error code so we have no idea what is wrong. The gasket near the door in the washer regularly gets socks stuck in it. Disappointed given how expensive the unit is.

This sounds frustrating, and we'd like to make sure it's figured out and resolved as quickly as possible. In the machine's User Guide, it mentions that small items may get stuck around the door, and if so, try putting those items inside a mesh garment bag. However, for the error code, please contact us at 800-552-5475 (Monday to Friday; 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Central Standard Time) so we can investigate further and set up a plan of action.

In February 2026 I bought a Speed Queen stack washer dryer unit. All is good. Speed Queen is suppose to be the best. Price is tough, esthetics are plain, but if it's reliable for years to come it's a win!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I first heard about them when I took my lab in for appointment and the vet ( a bright guy) brought up Speed Queen..seriously. I love the features I first thought unnecessary, and haven’t had to figure out how to use it from the manual except one explanation. It is logical and just goes to work.

Love My Speedqueen!

I've only had my new stackable for a few weeks but I love it. It's very quiet, easy to program, to see what's going on in the washer, how much time is left in the cycle, how clean the clothes are and like its efficiency. The dryer is large, drys fast, and has a nice bright light to see well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
